  • Hey Eddie can't directly contact you because I'm on my phone. However, YOU ARE THE MAN! I used to listen to this song with a loved 1 who passed on. I honestly can't tell the difference. KEEP DOING WHAT YOUR DOING!!!

  • ..."when I was 17"~~~it really was a very good year-[ 1965 ].... I just couldn"t see it at the time !!!

  • Hi @9647s - Ya know, that really doesn't matter! As long as -- NOW -- you see your life as "Fine Wine" from "Fine old Kegs!" Thanks for the comment!

  • Seventeen , my lucky number and favourite song, thank you

  • Hi @DubhLoch - It's my Fav too!!! Thanks for tuning in!

  • Nice job! The photos of Frank ,though his brilliant career are perfect.

  • Hi @century123ful - Thanks for tuning in! I truly appreciate your "Nice Job!" comment and I'm so glad you enjoyed the photos I selected -- It took quite a while to get everything just right! I also hope you enjoyed my singing - thanks again!

  • The man

    There will be no other

  • Hi @DISGUYROX - He surely was "the man!" Thanks for tuning in and for your comment!

  • UK JOBS FOR UK WORKERS

  • Hi @thegreatlizzy - Huhhhh???

  • rest in peace frank.gone but never forgotten

  • Hi @crackingcats - Thanks for tuning in! As long as I have an audience to sing for, I'll continue to remind people of just how truly GREAT he was! Thanks again!

  • I think you have a great voice. I would gladly pay to listen to you live

  • Hi @wiganyankeeron - Thanks for the wonderful comment/compliment! In regard to payin to hear me sing, just let me know when you're visiting the USA and are in the New York area and I'll let you know were I'm performing - thanks again!!!

  • I thought this song was by Frank Sinatra! :-) he's one of my favroites!! You sound good in this uncle eddie!!!

  • Hi @PeanuttButterGirl101 - Well here's an FYI for you, the song was actually done by Frank Sinatra way back in 1965 -- (His version is fantastic!) -- But in this version, which is my personal tribute to Frank, I'm the one singing -- (As I think you've already figured out! :-)) Thanks for the comment/compliment Kyra!!! Love & Hugs, Uncle Eddie

  • You'll never believe where Frank Sinatra discovered this fine song. But music history will tell you the original was recorded by the Kingston Trio (1961) & it was there that Frank Sinatra was brought this song by a crony (maybe Nancy Sinatra) to listen to. Sinatra's version was recorded on a 1965 lp. The misconception is that Sinatra heard it off a Turtles album because they had recorded the song almost at the very same time. The Turtles released their version a year later (1966).

  • Hi @lastrada52 - Thanks for tuning in and for your comment! In truth I've always known that the original recording was done by the Kingston trio in 1961 - (I've actually pointed that out on a number of occasions to other viewers) - but I've never heard anyone talk about Frank having found the song on a Turtles album, so for me that's a first! Thanks for pointing that out and thanks again for tuning in!

  • @EDDIEPIRRERA - Eddie -- Please don't misunderstand my post -- I said the misconception is that Frank Sinatra discovered the tune on a Turtles album. He didn't. He discovered it on the Kingston Trio album. The misconception comes because the Turtles had recorded the song around the same time as Sinatra. But Frank released his first by several months.

  • Hi again @lastrada52 - I'm pretty sure that I didn't misunderstand your post :-) As previously mentioned, I've always known where the song came from -- the kingston trio -- I just never heard anyone erroneously mention the turtles. Thanks again!

  • @EDDIEPIRRERA - Good. One of the misconceptions was printed in a 1992 All Music Guide -- I too would have gone with their statement that Sinatra heard it from a Turtles album -- but, other sources don't substantiate this. Also, logically, I could understand Sinatra hearing it from the Kingston Trio but unless his daughter Nancy gave him The Turtles album -- I don't see anyone in Sinatra's camp listening to rock. Also, the recording dates prove Sinatra knew of the song first.

  • Hi @lastrada52 - Thanks again!

  • I will be 35 next year....

  • Hi @MrPAULONEAL - Thanks for tuning in and for your comment. I hope that when you turn 35 next year it will be a "Very Good Year!"

  • Ava , his great love.

  • Hi @sharonkayb - Thanks for tuning in and for your comment! In 1951 Frank Sinatra married his second wife, actress Ava Gardner. The marriage lasted six years and is credited for moving Sinatra into his "mature" phase as a singer, with Nelson Riddle stating: ("It was Ava who did that, who taught him how to sing a torch song. That's how he learned. She was the greatest love of his life and he lost her.") I guess that's what losing the love of your life can do. Thanks again for your comment!

  • Sinatra could sing the A,B,C's and it would be beautiful.

  • Hi @CJD52107 - Thanks for tuning in and for your comment. I wholeheartedly agree that Sinatra could sing the phone book and it would sound great, but just to set the record straight, if you were thinking that you were listening to Frank in my video, that's not the case. As I've had to point out to many viewers since posting this video, I'm a professional singer and in wanting to make my tribute to FS be a bit more special and have an added personal touch, I decided to sing it myself. Thanks!

  • @EDDIEPIRRERA good for you kid sounds terrific

  • Hi @CJD52107 - Thanks!!! :-)

  • Murdock sang this on an episode of The A-Team. :D

  • Hi @JediLuckySeven - Now there's something I didn't know! Thanks for the comment!

  • @EDDIEPIRRERA Actually he sang several snippets of Sinatra songs. It was in the Season 5 episode 'The Say Uncle Affair'. Not one of the best episodes ever, but Murdock acting like Frank Sinatra makes it well worth watching.

  • Hi @JediLuckySeven - Thanks for the info! I'll have to see if I can find that episode somewhere on the net, it really sounds like fun! Thanks again for tuning in!

  • @EDDIEPIRRERA Netflix has almost the entire show available for streaming, except for a handful of episodes. 'The Say Uncle Affair' happens to be one that Netflix doesn't have, but hulu . com has it (and it's free there).

  • Hi @JediLuckySeven - Thanks for the heads up! I'll have to check it out!

  • Francis Albert was the Dapper Don of Music

  • Hi @brucee6shooter - How right your are!!! Thanks for your comment!!!

  • Cool never dies. This was a man that men aspired to be like and women dreamed to be with. Meanwhile the rest of us lived our lives vicariously through Nathan Detroit...

  • Hi @mayabelle1107 - You are sooooooooo right! And that is exactly why 13 years after his death Frank will be with us for many years to come! I have to admit that as a professional singer -- (I'm actually the person singing in this video) -- I am guilty as charged of being one of those who have aspired to be like Sinatra -- (at least vocally) Thanks for tuning in and for your comment!

  • Just in question is this man dead?

  • Hi @MMBNM - Frank Sinatra was born on December 12, 1915 and died at the age of 82 on May 14, 1998. So - yes - he's been dead for 13 years now - BUT - since he 'was' and 'is' still considered one of the greatest singers of the 20th century he continues to live on through his music, which I think will be with us for a very very long time to come! Thanks for tuning in and for your comment!

  • Frank.saint

  • Hi @Joe96113 - Thanks for the comment, but I do think that even Frank would agree that he was much more a sinner than a saint - Haaaaah!!!

  • Happy Birthday Frank! :D

  • Hi @imawesomedoc - When I performed and recorded this song 3 years ago and then created the video to go along with it Frank would have been 93 years old. Now 3 years later - on what would have been his 96th birthday - I'm still amazed at just how many people continue to tune in and comment! Thanks!!!

  • Played this at my mothers funerl today. Thanks so much for putting it up x

  • Hi @AtomicIrregular - I'm so very sorry to hear about your mothers passing and would like to extend my condolences to you and your family. I know how difficult this day must have been for you, but if this song had some special meaning for your mom I'm happy to hear that you played it, and I do think that she would have loved knowing that you did! I'd like to thank you for taking the time to comment.

  • @AtomicIrregular condolences to you and your family keep your head up very hard to lose a family member but now she is in a better place. very beautiful of you to play this song hopefully my child will be as great as you to play this at my funeral

  • @AtomicIrregular, I am very sorry to hear that! I would like to extend my sincerest condolences, as I know myself how hard it is.

  • Sopranos ;)

  • Hi @HardRockjorge - I always thank the Sopranos whenever someone finds my video because of their season two opening show - Sooooooooooo THANKS Sopranos! And thank you for your comment!

  • is it the real Frank ? If not ... its amazing ...what a voice ..... love this music altough i listen to this new sh** , my grandparents grew up in after-war West-Berlin with the jazz from the american troups and i always heard it with em when i was a child ... great memories !

  • Hi @DriftkingS2K - To answer your question - No - it's not Sinatra you hear in my video. As I just mentioned to another viewer, I'm a professional singer and it's my voice you hear in the video and not Frank's. When I decided to make my video tribute to Sinatra I also decided to make it more personal and special by singing the song myself, and so I did! Thanks for tuning in and for your comment!

  • @EDDIEPIRRERA its amazing .... i thought its frank .... awesome !!!!!! really awesome !

  • Hi @DriftkingS2K - Thank you so very much for the "amazing" and "awesome" comment / compliment!!! I'm so glad to know that you liked my singing, especially after finding out that it wasn't actually Sinatra! If you check out my Youtube channel you can hear me sing with a 20 piece big band and then let me know what you think of that as well. Thanks again for tuning in from Germany!!!

  • I heard this for the first time today, on the radio. Intro reminded me of The Carpenters and voice of Matt Monro. Great Sinatra-tune, one of the first I hear from him that touches me, I guess I have several from him to discover! Normally I have heard style but not soul from that man - a Mafia style, cold and white, that never appealed to me.

  • Hi @healhurt - Thanks for tuning in and for your comment! I've never heard anybody compare the intro to the Carpenters before - (very interesting) I do have to tell you that I'm a professional singer and the voice you heard in my video is not Frank Sinatra but is actually me - (I've also never been compared to Mat Monro before either) I've been singing the music of Sinatra for a long time now, and can tell you that there are a lot of really good songs for you to listen to. Thanks again!!!

  • @EDDIEPIRRERA WOW!!!

  • Hi again @healhurt - THANKS ! ! !

  • Great Job with the video!

  • Hi @CaroleBucci - Thanks for the comment / compliment on my video! I hope you enjoyed my singing as well... Have a great day!

  • It was a very good year 1965,i was seventeen years and now i am 63 ,Frank was very good.

    Greetings from Finland Tampere

  • Hi @teuvalaanen - I hope that every year from 1965 to 2011 have ALL been very good years for you! And I sincerely hope that each and every year to come will be even BETTER ! ! ! Thanks for tuning in - (All the way from Finland!) - and for your comment!

  • @EDDIEPIRRERA -I agree with you.

  • Hi @teuvalaanen - I'm not quite sure what it is you agree with, but I would like to thank you anyway for tuning in and for your comment... Sooooooooooo thanks ! ! !

  • Good ol' blue eyes.

  • Hi @domz510 - Thanks for tuning in and for your "Good ol" comment!

  • @EDDIEPIRRERA My pleasure. Im 18 and ive been around oldies all my life because of my grandfather who raised me as his own. Im my opinion, i feel music like this has more sense and is just beautiful. I mean i listen to the music kids listen today like. Lil wayne Drake etc.. but non of them come close to Frank or anyone else from this generation for that matter. And im not ashamed or even embarresed to listen or sing oldies in front of my friends,

  • Hi @domz510 - I'm not totally shocked to hear that someone your age enjoys this kind of music - BUT - am always very pleasantly surprised! I think your grandfather did a wonderful thing. I've been singing the songs of Frank Sinatra my whole professional career, and always enjoy talking with people in your age bracket about just how good this music really is. So, you keep right on listening to whatever current music turns you on - AND - the old stuff your grandfather showed you!!! Thanks!

  • @EDDIEPIRRERA I'm 15 an I've been listening to Frank Sinatra for a while now! A lot of people i know like swing jazz including myself. It's so captivating and beautiful.

  • Hi @Kingcusano1315 - It's wonderful to hear that you enjoy the music of Sinatra! Keep right on listening to everything you can get your hands on, and thanks for tuning in!

  • @EDDIEPIRRERA I remember when this song came out.. I was 17.. I imagined my life and how I would feel if I heard it, in my Autumn... It's Autumn for me now... I wish... oh well...

  • Hi @RainDance4550 - You said that you imagined your life and how you would feel - WELL - since it's Autumn now, I hope that when you hear this song you think of your life as "Vintage wine from fine old kegs!" Thanks so much for tuning in and for your comment!

  • @EDDIEPIRRERA Hi Eddie.. I have to tell you I enjoyed very much hearing it again.. but I heard it today, with old ears, old memories, much more wisdom. It took me back, through all those years.. 17... young, vibrant, full of life... 21.. feeling my way around adulthood... 35... settling in to an easy stride of life.. 50... it was like a fine wine... And now, at 65... Autumn.. Ahhh.. it was a very good life...

  • I just love this song ever since it was on the Sopranos soundtrack !

  • Hi @giles5273 - Thanks for your comment! I just love the "Sopranos' for using this song in season 2 because of how many people it's brought here to my video - BUT - I do have to point out that this is not the version you heard on the Sopranos. The original version was sung by Frank Sinatra and is what you heard on the TV. This version was sung by me - I'm a professional singer! I wanted to make my tribute to Sinatra more personal by singing it myself - and so I did! I hope you still like it!

  • At least once a week, awesome tune - Thanks boet.

  • Hi @jamesbesterza - You keep right on tuning in and eventually I'll make it to 1,000,000 - Thanks! :-))

  • Back again for another listen. You did such a great job! Thanks!!!

  • Hi @honfleur214 - Thanks again for tuning in and for you comment / compliment! I'm so glad you found my performance worthy of another visit and would like to extent to you my personal invitation to come back as often as you like! See you again soon ! ! ! ;-))

  • i love it ! Bravo .......

  • Hi @arnellbamba - I'm glad you "love it!" Thanks so much for tuning in all the way from Down Under ! ! ! :-))

  • The greatest. Frank is timeless.

  • The greatest. Frank is timeless.

  • Hi @starboy3 - I wholeheartedly agree with you that Frank is the greatest that ever was and is truly "timeless!" I also believe that his music will be with us for a very long time! I do have to point out, that the person you heard singing in my video was not Frank, but was actually me. I'm a professional singer and when I decided to create my video tribute to Sinatra I also decided that it would be more special if I were to sing it myself - and so I did. Thanks so much for tuning in! :-))

  • Great video hard to find good music like this

  • Hi @unoplayhouse21 - I'm glad you like my video - Thanks for tuning in ! ! ! :-))

  • classic. what a beautiful song!!!

  • Hi @MzChelxoxo - Thanks for the "classic" comment! I'm glad you like my vid - thanks for tuning in ! ! ! :-))

  • God! How much I miss Frank Sinatra... his voice was magic.

  • Hi @catspaws5 - Thanks for tuning in and for you comment! I wholeheartedly agree that Franks voice was truely "Magic!" However, I do have to point out that the voice you heard in my video tribute was not Sinatra's - but was actualy mine. I'm a professional singer and in the creation of my video I decided to make it more personal and special by singing it myself - and so I did. I hope that doesn't disappoint you in any way and I hope you still like what you heard - thanks again!

  • the openinig of The Sopranos S2E1...it was a very good season

  • Hi @majdaldeen87 - The Sopranos season two opening episode is one of the reasons for so many people tuning into my video - and so - I always say THANK YOU Sopranos ! ! ! I'd also like to thank you for tuning in and for you comment! :-))

  • @EDDIEPIRRERA

Yeah thanks to David Chase he put some amazing songs on that show.

  • Hi @joesoap81 - Thanks for the comment! Since you liked my singing voice in "It was a very good year" please feel free to check out both of my original holiday songs at - eddiepirrera(dot)com - they're both being played on the radio throughout the Christmas season - enjoy!

  • Hi @joesoap81 - I never knew that he was directly resonsible for putting "It was a very good year" on the show. So Thank you David Chase!!! And thank YOU for your comment!

  • @EDDIEPIRRERA

Yeah he picked all the music on the show along with Steven Van Zant who plays ''Silvio Dante'' who is the Saxophone player in Bruce Springsteens E Street Band also.

  • Hi @joesoap81 - Well then thanks again to David Chase and also Steve Van Sant for picking such great music! Even though the version you heard in my video is not Frank Sinatra and is actually me recorded from a "Live" stage performance I did -- (I'm a professional singer) -- a fair number of the 663,546 people have mentioned to me that it was the "Sopranos" season two opening show that brought them here. So from now on I'll say "Thank you Sopranos and David Chase!" Thanks for your comment!

  • @EDDIEPIRRERA Thanks for the comment I knew I heard that Fran Sinatra song on either a TV series or a movie. Should have guessed it was Sopranos.

  • as a soul brother who loves frank...i gotta tell you..a black man sang the shyt out of this first..then frank made it his own....

  • Hi @lutollo - Thanks for tuning in and for your comment. My understanding is that Ervin Drake wrote this song in 1961 specifically for Bob Shane of the Kingston trio - and I'm pretty sure that the Kingston trio was made up of three white guys. So having said that, I'm curious to know what black man you're talking about? If there's another version of this song that I don't know about I'd actually like to hear it - thanks! PS - The guy singing in my video is actually me - not Frank! :-))

  • @EDDIEPIRRERA i was staying at a boarding home where men pass through while working and in between homes...lol...anyway; a guy was playing some old albums in his room and i was outside his room in the common area listening;and he said "check this out"...and showed me an album with a black guy on the cover and he played "very good year"...i was like; damn...!...since i loved this song and he said, this is the original singer of this song..it stayed in my mind. The album cover was very early.

  • Hi @lutollo - That's a very interesting story about the song and the album cover. It would be my guess that what you heard was probably recorded after the 1961 Bob Shane and 1965 Frank Sinatra recordings. I say this because I can't seem to find any recordings that pre-date either of the ones I just mentioned. I do know that after Sinatra's version hit the charts and won a "Grammy" in 1966, more recordings of this great classic started to pop up all over the place. Thanks again for tuning in!

  • Why does remind me of Dead can dance and Zelda???

  • Hi @heathinv - Thanks for tuning in and for you comment! I'd be curious to know which "Dead can dance" and "Zelda" songs this reminds you of? Thanks again!

  • Still on my playlist.

  • Hi @ragingpearl - A MILLION THANKS ! ! ! :-)) You come back and listen as often as you like, and I'll always be here for you ! ! ! Warmest regards, Eddie

  • Hi @SirTrickyDick69 - WOW!!! It's so nice to see you guys getting along so well ;-)) Especially in a place where everyone who tunes in to my video can read your very special "love notes" to each other. Perhaps you could both do me a HUGE favor and give it a rest - Thanks!

  • Are you going to do more Frank Sinatra covers in the future?

  • Hi @GNRchick33 - I actually have quite a few Sinatra songs recorded and ready to post - BUT - unfortunately don't have all that much time to sit at the computer in order to create the videos needed to go along with them. However - I do plan on working on that in the very near future. Thanks for asking!

  • Hi @LokiusMaximus - Okay guy's, no bickering on my page, please ;-)) Allow me to point out something that you both have in common!!! You both obviously have excellent taste in music - otherwise - neither of you would have come here in the first place to listen to this great song! :-)) So, that being said, I think we can agree that since everyone is an "individual" and therfore "different" it really doesn't matter how someone might express themselves as long as it's in a positive direction! :)

  • there was probably no better song for the sopranos. season 2 was pretty good. tonys mother looks crazy!!

  • Hi @wtfisasnuggie1 - Thanks for tuning in! I always say "Thanks" to HBO and the Sopranos season 2 opener! It seems that a rather large number of people from all over the world have found my posting because of that one show - so again I say - Thanks to HBO and thanks to you for your comment ! ! ! :-))

  • it's like i don't want my mood to change from this song. reminds me of the 1940's. it would've been so dope to be living then, especially in the winter

  • Hi @SirTrickyDick69 - Thanks for your comment! You're probably remined of the 1940's -- even though the song was actually written in 1961 -- because of the early photos of a very young Frank Sinatra that appear in the first two verses of the song. I myself am not so sure that I'd want to live in the 1940's - BUT - I'd sure love to go back in time for a visit! :-)) Thanks again for tuning in and for your comment! PS - Why the winter?

  • @EDDIEPIRRERA yes, I know when the song came out and some photos do take me to that period of the 40's as well. Winter is to me a culmination of the earth being honest and communicating with us in the best way it can. It's the most emotional season for me.

  • Hi again @SirTrickyDick69 - Thanks for the head up regarding "Winter." I myself love all the changes of season, but I must say that Fall, with its fresh crisp air and beautiful multi-colored foliage is my personal favorite! :-)) Thanks again for tuning in. PS - I personally don't mind the word "dope" at all - as long as it's not in reference to ME - Haaaaah ! ! ! ;-))

  • Being somewhat sentimental after my recent birthday which carries me a bit over the half century mark, I decided to revisit your magnificent rendition of this timeless tune. I hope your career in singing is going well. Your talent is superb!

  • Hi @shaxmatist2000 - First let me wish you a very happy Birthday! Thanks so much for coming back again to listen to me sing and watch my video - I'm thrilled that you enjoyed it that much! :-)) And now here's a toast to you for your Birthday - stolen directly from Frank himself. "May you live for 100 years, and may the last voice you hear be MINE!" Haaaaah!!! (I just couldn't resist ;-)) Thanks again for tuning in and for your "superb" comment / compliment! HAPPY BIRTHDAY ! ! !

  • Wonderful rendition. You have a beautiful voice. And I love the montage.

  • Hi @kellygail64 - Thank you so much for the "Wonderful" comment / compliment! I'm so glad you liked my video tribute to Frank and especially glad that I didn't have to point out to you that it was actually me singing - Haaaaah! ;-)) Thanks again for tuning in all the way over there in Sweden ! ! ! :-))

  • frank sinatra did a great job in this video

  • Hi @rayray66 Thanks for your comment! I do have to point out that Frank Sinatra didn't actually do anything in this video aside from appearing in the photos! :-) FYI - I spent many hours sifting through hundreds of photos to find the ones that best fit the lyrics - as he went from young to old - and then recorded myself singing the song to use as a personal tribute to Frank. So you see, Franks not even singing. Sinatra is the BEST and I thank you once again for tuning in and for your comment!

  • @j0hns0ntv I have 38 and I too think that he is amazing. Years have nothing to do with the taste for gooood music like this song. This i just BEAUTIFUL. Greetings from Makedonia !

  • HI @ellenofag - Thanks for the "Beautiful" comment / compliment from Macedonia! You are absolutely correct that age has nothing to do with good taste in music. Thanks again for tuning in and keep right on listening to as many of these wonderful classics as you can find! Enjoy!

  • Good

  • HI @peterkumar1 - Thanks!

  • Hahaha I have no idea why Shatner got into music, or why anyone let him make an album -.-''. Haha I'm sure Ervin Drake is mighty pissed! BTW Frank Sinatra is amazing and you did a hell of a cover, props to you!

  • Hi @GNRchick33 - After thinking about it, it's quite possible that Ervin Drake finds this version -- if he's actually heard it -- just as funny as the rest of us - Haaaaaah!!! :-)) PS - Thanks for the "cover" compliment!"

  • Hi @j0hns0ntv - If you're referring to Frank Sinatra when you say - "this guy is amazing" - I wholeheartedly agree!!! If you're referring to the guy you heard singing -- (that would be me) -- then I thank you for the compliment! Either way - thanks for tuning in and for your comment!

  • Listen to the version he sang when 52....

  • HI @Gerry0804 - Is the version you're referring to from "Live at the Sands?" My personal favorite has always been the original from the 1965 album "The September of my years." Frank was 50 years old in 1965 having been born in 1915 and in my opinion, at the very top of his game! I patterned my own singing style -- the one you heard in my video tribute -- after that wonderful recording. Thanks for tuning in and for your comment!

  • q buena voz :D

    excelente

  • @j0rge1000 - Gracias!

  • "When I was 17, I drank some very good beer, I drank some very good beer I purchased with a fake ID, my name was Brian McGee, I stayed up listening to Queen, when I was 17" XD

Anyway, Frank Sinatra is amazing :)

  • Hi @GNRchick33 - Thanks for your comment - BUT - are you saying that Frank Sinatra is as good as Homer Simpson? Hummmm????????

  • @EDDIEPIRRERA Hahaha possibly..... ;)

  • Hi again @GNRchick33 - Okay so here's how things really rate - Franks version is the absolute BEST!!! My version -- (the one you heard in my video tribute) -- is a close second! AND - Homer Simpson's version is...... dead last! Haaaah!!!! :-))

  • @EDDIEPIRRERA Hahaha can't argue with that! However, if were rating it by comedic value, Homer Simpson would definitely be first ;) haha.

  • Hi @GNRchick33 - Check out the William Shatner version -- (You know - Captain Kirk from Star Trek) -- and then let me know what you think after that - Haaaaaah!!!! PS - the guy who wrote the song, Ervin Drake, is still alive and in his 90's - BUT - if he were dead I'm quite sure he'd be rolling over in his grave after hearing what Captain Kirk did to his song - Double Haaaaaah!!!! ;-))

  • @EDDIEPIRRERA

This is you? Very good... Not a patch on Shatner though, I mean you actually sang notes & stuff - that was your first mistake! :-)

  • HI @CeltoSaxonKnight - Yes! this is really me singing! FYI - I'm a professional singer and when I decided to create my tribute to Sinatra I also decided that it would be more special if I were to sing it myself - and so I did. As for William Shatner, I'm not really sure what made him decided that he should try his hand at singing - but it sure is funny!!! Thanks again for tuning in and for your comment!

  • Sorry, this just needs to be said. I know I run the risk of being stoned for heresy for saying this but Eddie's voice is just as good as Frank Sinatra's :-) There, i've said it...

  • Hi @abundantvideo - Wow ! ! ! As a singer I have always aspired to be the best I can be - BUT - to be told that I'm just as good as the greatest singer of the 20th century! Well - now there's a compliment to beat all compliments ! ! ! ;-)) Thanks ! ! !

  • Love this as there are some great old pics of the great Mr Sinatra to go along with his amazing voice :-)

  • Hi @cyclequeen31 - I'm so glad you enjoyed my video tribute and all the pic's! I do have to point out however that the voice you listened to - and called "amazing" - was not Franks but was mine :-)) FYI - I'm a professional singer and when I decided to create my video I also decided that it would be more personal and special if I were to sing it myself - and so i did! Thanks so much for taking the time to comment! PS - Now that you know it's not Frank I hope you still like it anyway :-)

  • @EDDIEPIRRERA Eddie, you are a truly great singer - flawless! :-)

  • Hi @abundantvideo - What could I possibly say to such a wonderful compliment! Singing has truly been and continues to be the great joy of my life, especially when people like you tell me that you appreciate what it is I do. Thanks so much tuning in and taking the time to let me know that you enjoyed my work! :-))

  • when i hear that song i feel good
