  • more clutch than kobe

  • Welcome to the Thunder DFish!!

  • @demonLXK he plays for the thunder now? tought he went to the rockets

  • Fish has more clutch NBA finals moments than kob lol

  • anyone noticed how the clock stops for the moment at 0.6s in 0:54? WTF

  • playing for 16 years..and he made that much, cluth shot.

  • His jersey should hang in the Staples Center rafters with the other Laker legends.

  • watch?v=ivHKu3pGv2g

  • D-F you always be Laker......

  • i dont care what anyone says about D.Fish dude is a Laker For Life i dont give a fuck!!!! dude is bosssssss!!!! should have retired as a Laker but shit happens either way Fisher FTW!!!!

  • The punk won't even show up for his new team. What a loser. Fisher sucks....period.

  • @natskivna SHUT THE FUCK UP HES DOING BETTER THAN YOUR BITCH ASS. FUCKIN HATER GO SUCK SUMTHN MUHFUCKA

  • Fisher deserved to retire a Laker, he is definitely one of the greatest Lakers ever.

  • 0.4 fucking best shot

  • and people who were saying before the trade deadline to trade fish go suck a dick you "laker fans"

  • im so mad they let him go....

fish los angeles is gonna miss you

and i hope the you retire a laker and have your jeresey retired

    sincerally, a laker fan

  • even though d.fish sucked really hard he was a laker who should be respected for the time he was i LA. he had a heart of a champions and that is what we gonna remember of him i hope, not the fact he sucked.

  • @Lofaszbandy How exactly did he "suck really hard"? .... I mean, he was and is not a great player, but he didn't suck.

  • @BlackStarKeepShining

he could not make layups, he could not drive, he could not shoot(u could leave him wide open without scoring), he was a bad scorer, a bad passer.

but I do have to admit he was a pretty good defender. and number one:an exellent champion.

  • @Lofaszbandy Are you stupid, do you know how many clutch moments he's had, he contributed mightily to every single championship team. He was never an all star but he was a good solid player.

  • @art2487

i agrre, but on a scale of ten fisher was 4

  • lol @ blake

  • I'll really miss dfish, clutch in the final seconds as well as one of the best team leaders in the game with a great personality

  • Comment removed

  • DeAndre don't have enough hops to block Derek Fisher lol

  • Love Fish, but if you would have told me that two of the top 5 involved Fish MAKING a layup, I would never believe it. Those must be the only two layups he's ever made. I have more trust with Fish shooting a half court shot (or toe on the line three pointer) than him making a layup.

<3 you Fish, GL in Houston

  • You will be forever missed from the Lakers. You are a true champion, and a true leader. Thank you for all the big shots, and the leadership that you have shown. Your jersey should be retired at Staples Center.

  • D-Fish Thank you for being a champion, and a class act all the way. Best of luck, I hope there is a way you can come back and retire as a Laker. Retire # 2 , put it up on the wall. While you're at it get # 21 Cooper up there too!

  • Comment removed

  • Hope he comes back

  • D Fisher-a true leader

  • no more fish in la we will miss you mr clutch..=(((

  • it is really sad to see him go. He was one of the few players in the roster that kobe trusts especially during clutch situations. And he seems to be well loved and well respected not only by his teammates but also the rest of the players in the NBA. He may have lost most of his speed and athleticism due to his age but his heart and hustle still remained. He just has this ability to pull himself together and make a hell of a play especially when the game is on the line. Respect to D-Fish

  • yeah i know, fisher was criticized a lot. but no one wanted this move. he's old, and can't defend the younger ones. all we wanted is to get him of the bench, for like 15 minutes per game. he had so much heart, game by game. no one wanted him out of the team.

  • they should had at least benched him not traded him.. that was a noob move.. but i do like sessions .... but dont let fish goo

  • man fisher i will miss you man just retire man

  • hope he comes back and retires as a laker :)

  • The play where he went coast to coast AND 1 was the best. Gunna miss Fish.

  • I seriously can't get over the fact that they traded Fish. This is a sad day for me. What a great person and leader. I seriously thought that he'd retire as a Laker. I'm gonna miss Fish. Jim Buss gets the side eye from me always, but this is bull.

  • thuggest player in the nba. clutch shooter, great team leader, and stepped up when it counted. those 2 threes in orlando will always be apart of my childhood. and what about when he murdered scola? thanks for the memories fish

  • Fisher is the definition of heart, character, DNA clutch gene, and a leader.

  • LAKER FOR LIFE!!!!

  • It won't be long until a number 2 jersey is hanging from the rafters at Staples. Thanks for everything Fish.

  • I hope he retires at the end of the year in 20 more games and you can hang it up. 5 rings more than shaq, barkley, lebron, wade, durant, rose, and most player will ever get.

  • i remeber than orlando 3 he won that series

  • D fish!! Your always a LAKER!!!

  • Houston fans make me laugh. You dont even understand the caliber player you just received id take him back in a heart beat. cause when you "Derek Fisher Checks into the game with 10 seconds left" down by anything less the 7. Laker fans know it aint over till fish says its over

  • @robinson2008 Thank you! I agree.

  • @robinson2008 Im not doubting the fact that he's clutch but, when Lowry comes back he's gonna be our 3rd PG.

  • anyone who calls him a bum is a bum themselves

  • more clutch than LeBron

  • @mojackomojacko LeBron isn't even clutch. he's a good player, but not clutch.

  • @mojackomojacko obviously

  • @mojackomojacko lol there's no comparison even involved

  • Derek Fisher, you will always be a Laker. Kobe and some were the Stars, but you were the Heart.

  • Rocket fan here. Can we send him back? He's a punk...always has been. Always will be.

  • @natskivna You people don't deserve him. Send him back, I'm sure he doesn't want to be amongst idiotic people like you anyhow.

  • Houston does not NEED HIM! He's garbage! Hes probably gonna be the 3rd PG behind Kyle Lowry and Goran Dragic

  • @MrDragonOG he has 5 championship and as you saw hit a lot of game winner in champship games show the man some respect.

  • @Radzell Yeah 5 championships thanks to Kobe. If Kobe wasnt there the Lakers wouldnt have won any of those championships. Kobe is the clutch one, hes the MJ of our generation. One of the greatest players of all time.Fuck Fisher.

  • @MrDragonOG having a good player on a team, like kobe, does not guarantee wins in the nba. You need a well rounded team, and Fisher was one of the top contributors of the team.

  • @cow5116 Well, 8.7 points a game and around 3 assist's during the course of his career is not a very good contribution. Bet you didn't know that. Those are back-up stats coming from a starter. Anyways, too bad in Houston he's gonna be the 3rd PG behind Lowry and Dragic.

  • @MrDragonOG All Dereck Fisher did was bail out the Lakers hitting clutch shot after clutch shot in the playoffs for years. How was he going to average 15 points a game with Kobe the BALL HOG playing all those minutes? You proved you're a fool.

  • @cow5116 BTW, without Kobe can you honestly say that the Lakers would have won those titles? I dont think so.

  • @MrDragonOG dude just stop talking your making your self look like an idiot Fisher is one the greatest role players of all time and definitely the best cloth role player in the history of the game, well maybe 2nd behind Horry but take your pick. Its not all about Kobe.

  • @IvanDos24 *Clutch

  • @IvanDos24 The best "cloth"? You just made yourself look like an idiot you illiterate fuck.

  • @MrDragonOG he corrected himself you dumbfuck...

  • @IvanDos24 STFU The lakers would trade everybody on their team to keep kobe if there were a scenario as such.

  • We'll miss you Fisher! Hope you do good in Houston <3

  • Much love fish, we're gonna miss you here in LA ... buying your jersey right now

  • im gonna miss you Fish :( a place in Laker history is waiting for you!!!

  • why the fuck would they get rid of fisher over dumbass blake, barnes, artest (sorry, forgot, "world peace"), etc...the list goes on. FUCK :(

  • @highlyfaded420 Nobody wants those jokes.

  • @apreuss42 shows loyalty means nothing in the NBA, whatever makes a dollar

  • i love the lakers and fisher but he cant keep up with drose.westbroook. dwilliams r any of the other fast guards in the league it was time he moved on or retired

  • @2savage253 pls cut it wit the "cant keep up with" arguments. he NEVER really could, but his value was so huge for this laker team, he would have been great off the bench. fuuckkk

  • get rid of the bench u showed us this year. all jokes

  • The FAKERS Fans demanded to trade fisher. that's why.

    they are all bullshit.

Fisher is a really really good DEFENDER

  • @sunriser246 no dumbass fisher got traded bcuz the laker GM wouldn't want to see him as a backup PG for the lakers, the lakers have too much respect for him idiot..Learn ur facts dumbfuck gotta look to improve your roster any way you can and this is the best move of the season.. Lakers are even more dangerous now with ramon sessions at point

  • @sunriser246 no your bullshit and hes always getting burnt buy younger faster guards in the nba. he should have retired last year. ask your self as a point guard when the last time he had like 8+ assist or even 15 points

  • @2savage253 name some PG who can defend all position. you know your the bullshit nigga

  • I can't be the only person who asked myself who the fuck is Jordan Hill.

  • NOW YOU KNOW WHY LEBRON LEFT CLEVELAND....

  • All I know is that the Lakers won't make to the West finals this year...I know Derek Fisher's stats is down but during playoffs he's a beast....The two new guys that they acquired from Cleveland won't do well in the playoffs...it's all about chemistry...They Lakers finally pulled themselves together in the last two games won both with Overtimes...and now they are a mess again....just wait and see.

  • i understand why the lakers traded fisher and i always said they needed a guard, but its hard to see him go, a left handed warrior

  • Had to favorite this video today. Derek will always be a Laker to me.

  • I'm gonna miss you sooo much Fisher! :( Words can't even describe

  • :/

  • Fisher, we gonna miss you. Miss you clutch shots..

  • Gonna miss you Fish. All those clutch plays and all that grit, poise and determination will be missed.

  • Stupidest trade ever. Fisher is garbage, Hes gonna be the backup behind Kyle Lowry AND Goran Dragic...

  • bye bye Fisher :( man, now noone gonna talk about him anymore.

  • noo fisherrrr we love youu

  • weird sound @ 2:50

  • miss Fisher! I hope the Lakers will put his retired number up.

  • DFish! <3

  • Later Fish, good run

He definetly needs to coach soon

  • F%ck i missed fisher already he is my favorite Lakers player i wish he could come back.

  • As a fan of the Lakers for well over 30 years. I love Fish. But it was time. Last 10 seconds of the game, I would love to have Kobe and Fish take the last shot any time. But the rest of the game, his production was killing us. Possibly the worst starting point guard in the NBA, production wise. I'll miss him, but he'll be alright. He'll come back as a coach. Love you Fish, but had to do it. Team comes first. Remember, he left the Lakers first time around for a larger contract.

  • Sad day for Lakers fans but this doesn't mean he can still have clutch moments elsewhere. Good luck D. Fish!

  • @takar3x Sad Day? I'll miss DFish but the Laker just got younger, Better, and Cheaper today. Today we Laker fans need to look on the bright side. We just got the PG we needed all year. Everything comes at a price. This is a business as well as a sport. Mitch can't make business decisions with emotion.

  • ugh. maybe they should have showed Jimby Buss this before they acted.

  • @3chrds I'm sorry to see him leave too, but you can't live in the past. This is a business as well as a sport. The bottom line is the Lakers just got better, younger, and cheaper. The new CBA changes a lot of things, and it changes how big Market teams like the lakers operate. The days of the Lakers just taking on salaries are over.

  • @AiruhnG

yeah true. luke walton's contract prime example of t hose more frivolous days of signing. It's a different league now. I just hope someday they give Fish the proper thanks and tribute he very rightly deserves.

  • @3chrds I agree, but I think the tribute should start with us fans. Which I think means more to a player. If Fish is on the Staples floor this season as an opponent the Laker staples center crowd / fans should give him a long and loud standing obviation. It should be so loud that the game should stop for a min to show the man some love. I'm going to miss him, but we need to move on and make another push at a title.

  • @AiruhnG

oh dude, you know that place is gonna be loud as f-ck when he comes back. i'll be cheering for him in front of my TV :)

  • @3chrds When Norm Nixon was traded a lot of Laker fans were hurt, but in return the Lakers got Byron Scott and look how well that turned out. We need to appreciate DFish for all he did, but we need to also welcome Sessions with open arms and show some support to him too. GO LAKERS!! DIE HARD FAN SINCE 1986

  • @AiruhnG

yup good point. the lakers aint afraid to trade. byron was the man. norm was a touch before my time. beginning of the 1st back to back for me - worthy diving his ass off towards the sideline to flick a loose ball back in bounds. was that 1st one or 2nd, cant remember. that was the "holy shit!' moment for me, have stopped since.

after tongiht's game, it looks like Sessions is waiting to be unleashed. on to another Lakers era.

  • Literally started crying while watching this. Thanks for everything Derek!

  • Goodbye Fish!

  • I dont like this trade

  • @Jack713100 It sucks but, the Lakers just got younger, better, and cheaper today. We have a true PG in Sessions. Lets look on the brite side

  • @AiruhnG aint no bright for Houston im a Rockets fan so i hope he retires ill be shock if he does help Houston at all

  • So excited about ramon. Fish thank you so much over the years help us win 5 championships. You are defiantly a top 5 clutch player of all time and a top 5 favorite laker of mine.

  • Fisher we be bought out by Rockets and then return to Lakers as a assistant coach.

  • @Soundamite

    yes!!!

  • im a rockets fan and i still wanted for derek fisher to be a laker for life. He been with them for o long.

  • Gonna miss you fish... I think we all knew time had come, we needed more spark at point guard... But you will always be a Laker Legend to Los Angeles!

  • WHY THE HECK DID WE TRADE FISHER FOR HILL?!??! Should've let Fisher retire as a Laker /=

  • @aaronjrhimself Because they need to make room for Sessions. It's pointless to have three PGs. Once the Beasley dead was dead in the water there only choice was to trade Fisher. Fisher is the older and more expensive player between him and Blake. I'll miss Fish too, but the Lakers just got better, younger, and cheaper. This is a business as well as a sport. You can't make business decisions with emotion.

  • @AiruhnG True that.. it is a business.. Oh well, definitely will miss him and hopefully Lakers will make that serious run for the Championship!!!

  • @aaronjrhimself He was also a Warrior and a Jazz...

  • Devastated watching this......will miss you Fish <3

  • 0.4 is history

  • So sick :(

  • WHAT THE FUCKA MITCH

  • We're going to miss you, Fish. The Lakers need to acquire you for one day so that you can retire a Laker. Once a Laker always a Laker.

  • Will miss him :/

  • NBA is a shame ! How Lakers can trade the legend Fish' ?!

  • @VI2010o Because you have to make a business decision. I'm going to miss him too, but the Lakers just got better, younger, and cheaper. Emotion can't be involved when making business decisions. Besides with the new CBA the day of the Lakers taking on contracts and added salaries are over

  • :'(((((

  • He should just announce his retirement today

  • thanks derek you were great for the team

  • Thank you Derek Fisher. You will be missed.

  • If you guys don't think this dude doesnt belong in hall of fame then you truly dont know basketball.even though he doesnt put a lot of stats,he plays smart.you have to know how he plays in order to know how great of a player he is.

  • @LocalzJS Unfortunately stats is what counts when it comes to the HOF. And he most likely won't get his number retired by the Lakers either. To get you number up in Staples you need to be a shoe in for the HOF

  • welcome to htown fish

  • He just got dished to the rockets

  • I don't know what was more fluke? Timmy D's fade away from the top of the key with shaq smothering him or the 0.4 second shot

  • you know everytime when i see the clock to 0.4 in any game situations everytime i think about the derek fisher shot

  • Fisher in the hall of fame NOOOOOOOO

    Are you crazy?

  • Fisher sucks. And I'm a Laker fan.

  • @805Bruin u suck.

  • 2:02 that's what you get when you double team the BLACK MAMBA! :)

  • one of the most beautiful jump shot ever!

  • (Im a clipper fan) and nothing pissed me off more than hearing those laker fan cheers at clipper "home" games.

  • @SleepingAtTheMovies stop cheering in lakers "home" game then

  • Derek Fisher, Billups, Kobe, MJ , and Reggie Miller. Im starting to think clutch has something to do with being bald.

  • @AppauLucci lmao thats why lebron isn't clutch with that hairline

  • @TheHamsteratack Well he is losing it. Does that mean once he turns bald he will start winning championships?

  • i just love laker fans at a clipper game, that why people go to clipper game when the lakers in the house

  • derek fisher doesnt derserve to be retire as one of the lakers because first of all he has five rings cause of shaq and kobe. second, he never gets shots in that much. and last, the only awards he has is 5 rings that he never earned. i hate about nba players who talk all tuff that they have more rings then one another.

  • @Pierce3449 Hey dumb fuck he is one of the smartest players to ever play the game, he was the president of the players union during the lock out because the other players respect him so much. he was also nominated for the best moment in sport in the 2007 espy's. He's gone through so much adversity and is one of the bravest players in the nba EVER. Never backs down and when somebody tells him he cant, he comes back and shuts em up over and over again.

  • @Pierce3449 english, motherfucker. do you speak it?

  • He has been so clutch and key to the 5 championships he has helped the lakers win. As much as i want him benched, or to trade for another PG, in the final 30 seconds there is nobody on this planet i want taking i shot other than fisher.

  • @texmexman1 AMEN!!!!

  • 0:21 how many Celtic players does it take to stop Derek Fisher?

  • @jterrorify95 It took rondo one swat to stop him. Remember the Playoffs? ;) Much respect for fisher tho

  • @jterrorify95 all 5 of course

  • @jterrorify95 doesn't matter how many, you can't stop Fisher when he's in clutch mode

  • He can make big plays when he wants to

  • DFish sucks now but boy is he clutch !

  • they forgot his fade away at the sideline to win the champ that one year. lol

  • #4 should at least be #2.

  • There would be no need to decide about match in last seconds if Mr Fisher would score more than 2 for 8 every fcking game. LAL fan.

  • I will never, EVER forget what he has done not only for the Lakers, but also for all of the players of the NBA. Fish, you've had a great career and regardless of your stats, you will always be one of my favorite players ever to suit up. Here's to the future hall of famer

  • @Cheers201 Yes!

  • he has the most awkward shooting xD

  • @nickkstar he's left handed
