This filled my stomach with emotion! I was fortunate enough not to have lost anyone that day, but I've always felt strongly about 9/11, and those who were lost, and to see another country, a country I hope to see one day with my own eyes, play my home land's anthem...that is just so much respect right there. The Queen truly cared for what happened to her fellow ally.
All I can say now is, God bless America, and, God save the Queen.

It was such a scary time, especially living in the NY area, and to have another country so strongly back you with such a prominent gesture -- it meant more than words can ever say.
