Power Button Problem FIXED!

U CANT DO DFU MODE WITHOUT THE POWER BUTTON I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM!!!!

my power button recently broke and i was wondering i changed the power off button to double clicking the home button would it turn on again by clicking the home button twice or would i need to still use the power button?

not really a fix but a work around. used activator for same reason but went with pressing both power buttons to lock the screen

@ldbiggs420 Use the Spirit Jailbreak you dont have to press the lock button or home :D.

For the people who ask how to turn it on/ off, you can make a button combo to restart it, and one to shut down. Plugging it in will reboot it.

@appleipodhelp1 what he means is that u need the DFU to jailbreak so the hfs.fs file (containing the jailbreak) can pass through the main filesystem

whoa so all you have to do to fix your power button is not take it to the apple store to get a new one but void the warranty by jailbreaking it... what a breakthrough

@AppleiPodHelp1 dfu is right before you actually jailbreak it, it cant be used in dfu its just the ipod turned off without being able to be turned on it's when you hold the power button for 2 seconds power and home for 7 and home for 15

go to cydia, search, and download ishakelock.then it should be un settings. *iPod has to be jailbroken
