All I can say is that "Please don't continue this foolin Rugby". What if you get hurt so bad that you can't continue doing Karate?? - it happened to someone I knew - got Paralized thru this stupid Sport!!.
sorry to disappoint but Karate or Judo is not a sport. Its a serious art that can decide your fate in a real fight. Its not like you're gonna use basketball or soccer or golf in a street fight. Hockey maybe though....
@Pat0p Not really, but there are karate styles considered sport karate for a reason. And judo is or has become a lot of an sport. Of course it depends a lot from the teacher, dojo and your own aspirations. Both styles can be practiced as a serious fighting art or as a sport. Sadly they are both becoming more and more sport kinds of..
