  • how does minimum wage laws work in europe. germany is dioing much better then usa.

  • @stealthgerm minimum wage is one of many factors.

  • none is entitled' to earn more than they work for, is the moral of the story? or at least say earn in proportion to your labor and skill. not really to concerned for it though.

any constraint on the minimum wage or labor creates an incentive to automate the production line and cut out labor, it's interesting if you think about it. It ultimately hurts the country for people to earn more than their skill would permit them, but if you have a high level of skill, there are no worries..

  • You should be thanking me. I am the only one who viewed this video. LOL

  • Gov't to protect private property. Man in the end libs are just hypocrites like the rest. fuck the gov fuck the gov fuck the gov. Oh wait. We need the gov so some pirate doesn't take everything I own. so I support that, but just that. but no social programs.

wTF give me a break. It won't work. not with over 4 billion people on the plant. Just a recipe for Exploitation of the uneducated and weak or handicapped (meaning mentally too) by rich tyrants.

  • @Unemployedbums

Haha "rich tyrants."I wonder if you would consider George Soros a rich tyrant. I don't know if you remember that whole deceleration of independence thing, but in it Thomas Jefferson spoke about "unalienable rights...among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness." In other words, (john Locke) "life liberty and property" Because these rights can be taken by others through force, we need government to prevent that from happening, not to take rich peoples things

  • @Unemployedbums : you naively forget its about being responsibility for yourself by paying for what you want or need. you want security so you should pay for it, the more direct to your needs the better.

  • @Unemployedbums I do not believe we need a government. So your argument is invalid. However, i would prefer you stayed on topic and addressed the issue presented.

  • yeah pay for government to protect private property. Listen to what you are saying. You are saying pay some poor kid peanuts to protect rich property, and he ends up paying with his life then is easily replaceable. I will never back this cold selfish philosophy never.

That isn't freedom bro. It is exploitation. Think about it chief.

  • @Unemployedbums I am saying 2 people can voluntarily accept a wage without government force saying an unskilled worker (not worth minimum wage) is not allowed to work or that an employer cannot hire an unskilled worker for cheap. People can voluntarily decide what their wages should be.

  • good video, I have debates with friends about minimum wage, they just don't get how the laws create unemployment.

  • @LibertarianChristian Thanks, maybe this will give you some ideas on how maybe to present the issue to them.

  • What u left out is how much the boss or shareholders are making each month and then you'll wonder why no one will work for 4$ an hour.

  • @TVFOGGED That is exactly the point! If you think $4 is not an appropriate wage, you can leave the company. You can go right down the street and find a new job for a higher wage. Thus, that company will be required to raise its wages in order to get quality (or any) employees to work for them. However, there may be some jobs or some people where $4 may be adequate, or reasonable. This should be free to decide by people, not required by government.

  • @Libertarianization May sound nice on the pages of an Econ 101 text book but quite interesting how it doesn't seem to work out that way in the real world. Didn't work out like that years ago before the minimum wage and isn't going to now. All that happened is you had loads of employers paying crap wages and your choice was to take one of those jobs or starve. There's a reason the minimum wage law was created and it wasn't to be mean to these "poor" employers you defend so vigorously.

  • @xexixk I don't defend employers. I just feel that the force of government should not be levied against them, just as it shouldn't against employees. High wages are great when everyone has jobs. When they don't, it is not a good system.

And besides, if I'm an unskilled employee (not worth minimum wage) it is literally illegal for me to work. That is very bad for the employee.

  • @Libertarianization BTW I don't have any desire to return to the conditions of 1900, which is exactly where we would end up at. If thats a person's idea of "freedom" then they can keep it.

  • So you make generalizations and simple cause and effect then you gun me for it. Fucking stupid libertarians on youtube. All your arguments are failed. By the way youtube doesn't allow me to write a Novel with the limited character space they allow.

P.S this Ron Paul / Peter Schiff has been debunked many times over. You guys just know the only platform you have is youtube because no one takes you fucking serious anyway. Looks like Glenn Beck will be joining you here too now. LOL.

  • @Unemployedbums

DAMN LIBERTARIANS AND THEIR DAMN BELIEF IN FREEDOM! They are so annoying with their bill of rights and annoying constitution! always getting in the way!

  • @UncleSamTalk

If you want pure freedom move to Somalia and live with the pirates you dip shit. America has no place for your backward racist archaic thinking.

  • @Unemployedbums Please calm down. I have yet to hear you actually argue a philosophical position. Instead you're attacking with absurd sayings (like that Glenn Beck is a Libertarian and I must support him- both which are untrue). If you disagree with the position, argue what about the position is wrong. All you are doing is making your side look ridiculous.

  • @Unemployedbums

ROFL! I think is funny when you call me racist because racists are the opposite of libertarians! racists believe that they have to use the government to discriminate against a collective group. We believe in individualism, which means we don't judge people based on collective groups. Also, libetarians believe the government should be used to protect private property, life, and liberty, so Somalia is not a good example.

  • That is why there is a very low unemployment rate in MEXICO. Stop drinking the koolaid.

  • @Unemployedbums There are thousands and thousands of other problems that Mexico has. You aren't just comparing apples to oranges, you're comparing apples to paperclips. Please try to think a little more in depth about your argument.

  • @Libertarianization as a businees owner you should know that the guy who quit doing 10 units because his pay went down to $8 dollars can be replace by a worker who will do 8-10 units for $6 dollars in fact create the whole model as $6 per hour we expect 8-10 units..its called a quota!

  • @Libertarianization . the min wage came from inflation and great profits from businesses and employers are more than happy to pay a min wage..why do libertarians come in complaining for employers..if they are small and are struggling the profit and loss statement will show this and the gov will give them a tax credit to help them. employers dont need libertarians shoving alternatives down their throats. all min wage workers have equal learning skills because the jobs are simple

  • @hapz3000 its not about alternatives. It is that he initiation of force is morally wrong.
