i love her hair. i was thinking the other day, what would you do when you were older and didn't want a proper permed, granny haircut. the answer - die it orange and have it up! magic! i'm just hoping i never go grey like my grandma. but ye i'm not really bothered.. looks are certainly not everything! (plus its a long way off) (this is a weirdo comment i know :) )
Vivienne Westwood is not a sell out. In fact she provably went back to her roots with making her clothes affordable like the way they used to me at the "Sex Shop" and "let it rock" days.
Punk was a movement and through out the years it has been evolving. Vivienne understand' s that not everyone can afford her Anglomania and Red Label Collections so why not partner up with Nine West.
In response to skaterdude6455, people change. Their tastes change and consequently, their style follows suit. As Vivienne stated in the video, she's never made what other people told her to do, she simply makes up the words as she goes along, so to say. After all, Fashion is a form of ugliness so intolerable that we have to alter it every three months.

Vivienne Westwood is responsible for the "punk look." She is married to Malcolm Mclaren, who was the manager for the Sex Pistols. The band started wearing her clothes and popularized a certain look and sound, which people equated with punk rock. This appearance was orchestrated for the purposes of marketing. Nothing more, nothing less. The clothing was part of the "outlaw" branding that made the Sex Pistols and other bands that McLaren managed (i.e. NY Dolls) popular.

The whole Swatzika thing was just to shock and scare people
You know she's considered to be responsible for the modern punk fashion :3

And now she has clothes that say "I am not a terrorist, please don't arrest me!" on them. Sheesh, talk about "sell out".

Yes we've got sound - be thankful that you've been spared the inane ramblings of Dotty Aunty Vivienne and her Tintwistle accent !
