WP is far from useless, just have to know how to play it. It's not as good as it was but its still a solid set. Me and dev dueled about a month ago and it was a draw.

Honestly, I can't remember being beaten by many brutes. With a good brute it usually ends up a draw.

The most recent I can think of is when i13 dropped in RV. I was still using my i12 build and a ss/wp took me out. He was rocking flurry and... fish. I used a respec and beat that same brute though.

this question cannot trully be answered because it ALWAYS depends on the slotting, powerset, and skills

say both tanker and brute has the same skills then it would come right down to the powerset and slotting

Tanker are more tougher and longer to kill than brute, but, once brute builds that fury bar, then the brute might be able to kill the tanker with 200% dmg buff

I've killed tons of Tankers before with my SS/WP brute but thats because I'm well experienced with the game and had better slotting
