@flpunk14 If you're talking about the fill, I'm pretty sure that parts correct, but if you're referring to the hi hats, I had addressed that a while ago, actually. When I listen to the recording (which has programmed drums) I can only hear 2 hits, but on the video, and when he plays it live, he plays it like I did here (or at least I think he does, from what I can tell). @EverydayAvenged1 $999. That was like 5 or 6 years ago, though. They don't make them anymore. It came with a tom between the 2 sizes I have in this video.
@connermal It's from 2 different takes. I played it once through from each angle, and put them together. At first I was just gonna do one angle, but then I wanted to see how this would turn out as far as continuity goes. I use a Kodak photo camera with video capabilities. I don't know the exact model. It's not super nice, though.
@legendsveil Those heads are about a zillion years old so I have to tighten them a lot for them to sit right, so they have this papery ring to them, especially in that room, and since they're so old and crappy, and I didn't want to waste money on moongels, I taped them up for a tiny bit of crappy dampening.
@titaniumman123 Practice a lot.. Especially to a metronome, or a song. Find a good balance of your speed and endurance, and keep practicing at that speed until you can play it for longer periods of time. Also, don't take big breaks from drumming, cuz that seriously screws things up. Haha

@Lyodrumers No. I just listened to it an excessive amount of times, so i kind of knew the basic pattern. Then, when I decided to cover it, I payed closer attention to the individual parts, and learned them by ear. Thanks.

@chaseissick33 Yeah, I was thinking that same thing. I've only seen one other SWS cover, and its a girl covering Let Love Bleed Red, which doesnt really have drums in most of it, so it was more like an improv/interpretation rather than a cover. What song were you planning on doing? I was thinking of doing another SWS cover eventually. If I did, I would probably either do The Bomb Dot Com 2.0, or With Ears To See And Eyes To Hear. Anyways... I'm rambling.. haha. Thanks!

Not my style of music, but i'm here to comment on the drumming. The quality of the recording isn't an issue, to me at least. I think you did a pretty good job. You seem relaxed and in control, which is always a plus.
