@Jaran912 In the United States, you either got a manual transmission (which had the highest power 6 port) or you got the automatic, which got the low end 4 port. A few years later they started putting the 6 port into the automatics. But with the lowered redline, they still never matched up to the manual transmissions.

@StilesJman , Because the exhaust's sound may or may not be louder than regulations in certain states/cities/municipalities. They don't want to be held liable for your Noise ticket if you get one. Check local laws and regulations before modifying any part of your vehicle. Many exhausts remove the stock catalytic converter, which in itself is illegal in many states if not federal mandates. Depending on your state you may or may not be able to alter the exhaust.

TCs are weak cars and make no power at all

@Bballpeter actually while the TC may be slow from the factory, the 2AZ engine was designed in Germany, and borrowed a lot of design ideas from the 2JZ. it has massive potential, and putting forced induction on the stock 2AZ has yielded upwards of 600whp quite a few times with few engine failures. on top of that, the TC is better equipped and in my eyes a much better looking car than a Civic...

The rx-8 is a sports car because it has 232 hp and sporty features. it was made to be sold as a sports car.

the civic is an economy car with a low power motor. with 500 whp, its still an economy car.
