Wow, this show was great. I loved this and last years show. Last year was the Latin Fantasy and this year is Chuck Mangione. If you live in North Georgia, this is the band to see. We have had a peice of crap football team for the last 16 years, this years is the best since I have been alive. I would still go to a game just to see the band. Go RMS band and Color Guard, you guys rock!

Why flame? im from the Pepperell Band and I respect ringold, on and off the field. You have amazing conductors and the people that i have met are pretty cool as well, whether it is jazz, concert, or marching band. Y'all have a great program over at Ringold. Keep up the good work.

This is really ridiculous Sorry you're bitter- but get over it. That was two years ago. The fact is the whole competition came down to little things because it was so difficult to decide on a winner. If you've ever been to a Ringgold practice, you know that it gets a little tedious because we do the same thing over and over. We work little things down to a fine point. So please refrain from opening your mouth when you clearly know nothing.

Mknausscat, no matter what your argument is, the mere fact that you began flaming a video about a competition you lost 2 years ago shows you are made of fail. Yes, Rome had a good brass line in '06, but their lackluster visual package combined with their hot/cold batterie/front caused them to lose just enough points to slip behind Ringgold.

If it helps you out any, we didn't get to play our prelim show in the afternoon..so basically we beat you cold turkey.

haha, wow thats bold statment.I played baritone and graduate from Ringgold in 07, and I love how there is, and always will this rivalry between the two bands. Yes Romes show was good in 06, but apparently the judges thought otherwise. All I can say is that Ringgold will always continue to put out good shows.

Ok, im not going to go back and forth arguing about "what band should have won" or "how close the scores were", because regardless of all that, at the end of the day Ringgold still won. That is why you have judges. Yes that .2 may seem so close, but all that means is that both bands were good and it came down to little things in the show that made the difference.The Chamber Winds play grade 6 as well. If you like to listen to some of the music they played just search "Ringgold High Concert Band"

Yes. Ringgold doesn't go to BOA competitions, but they go to competitions with BOA bands, if that makes any sense. And yes, Lassiter is a high school band, but it is the best in the United States. I'm pretty sure no band in our county can get a 97.55+ at the Grand National Finals. Hell, the whole district couldn't get anything close to that.

Everybody has their own personal opinon of the this performance that I recorded, and it should not reflect the "talent" of the band program. I don't know who you are, but I don't really appreciate your comments. I am NOT better than Josh. He works a lot harder than I do, so I don't even really deserve to be put on the same level as him. Schools have almost nothing to do with the individual talent of the students. However, when there is a really good band director in front of the class, it is more motivating, and the students are likely to practice more and to get better.
