Niceeeeeee. Thank you for sharing your skills and expert advise. You should really charge people to see this but at least I'll tell them to SUBSCRIBE to your videos, that's the least anyone can do.
hi i have painted 2 or 3 bodies with spray paint but now iv got an airbrush so i would really appreciate if u could tell me what kind of paint u have used in this video
great video, great tutorial - thanks a lot for your time and sharing it. what kind of masking paper or plastic did you use? we got a STIKA machine here and would be able to make stickers... but I want to be sure that no glue stays after removing the mask
Beautiful as usual charlie!! Couple of questions...What PSI do you spray at? Do you thin your paints? What brushes do you use to get the drop shadows? Looks like a custom micron...
what do you use to mask with? Is it pre made masking or do you just use like masking tape and make the flames and stuff yourself? Also, how do you keep the paint from bleeding through the mask?
Nice work Charlie, Im going to watch it from start to finish again. I ordered a iwata hp-cr from coast air and have bodies ready to go. Knowing these few tips and tricks should turn out good bodies and with practice, I might even end up great at it.
The paintjob is long gone. It was painted for a customer and probably since been thrashed.*made this video back in 2005. My next vids will have pix along with the vidoes i promise.
Remember children. Becareful when cutting the flame pinstripe with a xacto blade that you do not cut to deep into the plactic. If you do the body won't last that long before it breaks apart.
Mad skills man! Just got my 1st airbrush and hopefully in time I can be half as good.

pgiustino 2 years ago
Dude you make that look hella easy, i guess really it is easy, its all in the preperation, get the mask cut clean and everything else follows

How do you get the flame pinstripe so accurate? Practice practice and practice or is there a secret? Mine is allways getting different thickness :(

Looking forward to that. These videos are worth gold for amatures like myself, who has no one to ask.

I usually do them with an xacto knife and just cut them, but with these flames, the pins were precut for the video.

Is it possible to see some high resolution pictures of the finished work. Not to point out the flaws but to see the details :)
