Is this board modular or is it static because I think I would get board of the same set up just from different angles. But then i play Warhammer 40k so what do i know right lol. I have talked to some one at my local GW about this game and Iv always been a big WWII fan. I know the mechanics are similar but other than what i know from warhammer i know nothing about this game other than from this video.

Im looking into getting some Flames of war stuff, is it about as costly as GW's stuff like 1 tank £27 if it is then i might be put off getting it, but i really want to get an SS division.

@XXXpallisterXXX it's much more reasonable to be honest, each box set comes with a full unit of troops and are of very high quality [resin and metal FTW]

it's loads of fun, and reasonably priced just search Flames of War on google and check out their site and forum. and if you do start an SS division please put vids up of them

I've always played Warhammer, and loved it (up until 8th Edition...) but never had enough cash to start FoW. But I highly recommend it as a simple, very fast moving game.

I don't really think FoW and CoH are mutually exclusive. I love both games (FoW LW US Paras, working on some MW Armored Rifles.) and I think that a $10 computer game should be left out of the picture just because you want to play a tabletop game. I mean, there are moments I'd rather do one or the other, but I usually find that if you don't have a flames of war playing neighbor or roommate, Company of heroes is a nice game to play with others online. FoW is time consuming, but rewarding.
