  • Jin Hamar has always been one of the Cleveland areas best metal vocalist and a huge influence on me...\m/ HORNS UP!!

  • so good ;)

  • Where the hell was this guy when Bruce left Maiden in the mid 90's? Grrr. :-p

  • It's on the piece Track 21 - Storm - 6:20

  • the guitarist is my cousin

  • im spellbounded to her

    im in love with her

  • I am inlove with this song <3

  • it reminds me to graves era misfits, sounds great!!

  • Is there no full lyrics to this song? It's too damn awesome!!

  • Also, bonus points for MacBeth.

  • I quite like this song. But I was really taken by suprise when this part started. It's nothing like any of their other songs. While I enjoy their dark ambient tracks, this one is just a..well...a very enjoyable rock song.

  • Guitar is great, not a big fan of the vocals.

And the singer is Jim Hamar.

  • i would like to know who exactly did this i like nox arcana and love rock and metal this is fucken sweet

  • where can i find tabs for this?

  • Joseph Vargo should become an actor

  • @darkruler64 nahhh..that way everybody would get the idea to spend hours with his pictures. as long as he's not very famous, he's all ours babe ;)

  • @DerMetzgermeisterS

Perhaps he should do some voicework (for videogames, maybe even animated movies)

  • I love it when Nox Arcana throws vocals into their music. And then to come out swinging with their version of a rock ballad! Amazing!

  • this song is awesome, i've been lookin for it for ever so long....:)...hmhmhmhmhwahahahahaa

  • The original was my absolute favourite song by Nox Arcana, and this version is really awesome :D

  • Despite all the negative feedback, I personally loved this song. I think the vocalist did a really good job, as well as the guitar and drums. It was an excellent song to listen to.

  • Nox Arcana should really do a rock album.

  • Don't get me wrong, this was amazing!!

Buuut it would have sounded better if they screamed it :P

  • This song rocks! The singer and lead guitar work sound great.

The lyrics are really dark and creepy, about someone who's been enslaved by a witch's spell, but they also sound like a metaphor for a serious relationship gone terribly wrong.

"I'll take your secret to my grave,

beyond death, I'll be your slave."

Sounds like she stole his soul.

Like I said, great lyrics and a killer song.

I'd like to hear them do another song like this.

  • @grimstone442 I'd love to hear them do a whole album like this.

  • sounds like Altaria

  • Rock and Metal NEVER dissapoint YOU! =D

  • Absolutely Amazing =D

  • Wow... I Love this Song o.o

For a Band That Only does Instrumentals... They Know How to rock! Even if the Vocalist isn't the best!

  • I wish the production quality was a bit better.

  • what do you mean? The song is supposed to start off sounding like a scratched record, until the record 'skips' and gives way to the rock version.

  • ah ok then. Well, I'm no musician, but I like this song. Unfortunately, I think my CD has a scratch on it or something, as it stuffs up a bit for this song... and oddly enough, there is some feedback on track 9 "Spellbound"

  • @belthizor In the beginning it starts out as a broken record to convert from the original version, Spellbound, into the rock version. And if it starts breaking during the rock part, then yes, it is your CD.

  • @Lollipop417 I am well aware of that, thank you... it's just over use, I think, because Nox Arcana are such a great band

  • Is the rock version of spellbound included in the official CD carnival of lost souls? Because in the official site the CD contains 21 tracks..and the rock version isn't mentioned among them :-((

  • Is a hidden track from the carnival cd, can find it in the piece storm.

  • @FacSebari ok cool. I was listening to the song and kep thinking the last track was double the length it typically is... when the rock part came on I thought something was wrong. *goes back to finish song* It's good, now that I now it's intentional. Sneaky Nox Arcana XD

  • @FacSebari Whaaat? A hidden track? O___o

  • Wow... I expected this to be some lame techno remix, but this is FANTASTIC!

  • cool :)

  • this rox!!! :D

  • do you happen to know anywhere to get the drum and or guitar tab for this song? i already know the bass for it, and almost know the drums, but not 100% sure on that

  • really? i personally think it's one of their best albums: i thought the sound was unique and fresh (although the concept has been done a million times, I think they put a nice perspective on it)

  • I'm a more a fan of Grimm Tales, Shadow of the Raven, and Blood of the Dragon. Those one's stick out in my mind.

Necronomicon was a fitting tribute to Lovecraft as well. But, as I said, this track redeemed a lot of the album in my eyes (or, if you prefer, ears :P), It was totally unexpected- I just thought it was going to be the 'same ol' hidden bit of ambience', instead we're treated to a rather original piece of music for Nox Arcana.

That being said, while Carnival still shines in it's own way
