No, (please anyone respond if I'm wrong) there are, according to iiyama's site no build in speakers. There is a 3.5mm jack on the screen itself, but I got my speakers and headsets plugged in on my computer and the audio and video goes through DVI.

Someone has experience with this monitor using it with an XBOX 360?

I have this monitor and use it with a HDMI-cable to my XBOX 360. I can choose 1080p but that doesn't look good (Jaggies). Someone knows what to do? Maybe it's in the settings of the monitor himself?

Ik heb zelf met een HDMI kabel (die je niet bij de monitor krijgt) op de ps3 aangesloten. Verder heb ik Logitech Z323 Speaker System, kost zo'n 40 euro en heeft een subwoofer die een hele diepe bas geeft, wat mooi is tijdens games of films. Er komt dus geen geluid uit.

Ik gebruik zelf de ingebouwde speakers nooit, maar het is inderdaad mogelijk om het geluid via het touch-panel rechtsonderin te regelen. Als je stil wilt gamen kan je ook nog de koptelefoon-port op de achterkant gebruiken.

ik ben van plan deze monitor ook te kopen om te gebruiken als scherm voor mn xbox. Gwn via een hdmi kabeltje aansluiten. Ik zag dat deze monitor ook ingebouwde speakers heeft. Dat betekend dat het dus niet nodig is zelf speakers aan te sluiten. En ik kan dan via het scherm het geluid regelen? Ik ga hem namelijk niet aansluiten op een pc

excuses voor het late beantwoorden, mijn pc was een week lang dood =P

Dit is zat om op te gamen zolang je binnen een straal van 1-1.5 meter blijft ( ik zit er dicht op, omdat ik het ook als pc scherm gebruik en dan is ie zeker zat om voor de ps3 te gebruiken)

Als je je ps3 op een grotere afstand wilt gebruiken zou ik gaan voor een tv/grotere monitor.

@C94B Hallo, in de standaard doos zit geen hdmi-kabel, deze zal je dus los erbij moeten kopen. Dat is zo tenzij de site waar je de monitor aanschaft, er duidelijk bij zegt dat zij een hdmi-kabel erbij leveren.

(En als je hem in een winkel koopt, zit ie dus niet in de doos).

@runescapematty616 Vond ik ook, maar nog steeds mn moeder. Maar er zit een computer zaakje 2-3 km bij ons vandaan, daar koop ik hem wel. Is 10-20eu duurder, maar is wel veel makkelijker als er iets mee is. Bedankt voor de snelle reacties!

Ik zit erover te denken om deze monitor aan te schaffen, alleen ik vraag me af hoeveel input lag er is. Is het merkbaar in online shooters? Zou je een testje kunnen doen? Bedankt!

op deze pagina vind je de testresultaten die hardware.info heeft gevonden toen ze dit beeldscherm teste.

Om terug te komen op de imput lag, die is 0 ms (geen dus) maar kan een onnauwkeurigheid hebben van 20 miliseconden. (ligt dan weer aan het spel zelf).

@SamyouALjaxon I do not completely understand what you mean, so I try my best to answer it.

It does not automaticly changes to a brighter screen when the lights are turned off.

You COULD make it brighter making use of the menu but what i suggest is using some preinstalled MODES which are pretty handy. For example the gaming mode that I have on all the time is quite bright. The cinema mode is darker.

If this does not answers your question, please try to ask again but in different words =)

@Cqub3 Jazeker, door de snelle reactietijd heb ik bijna geen lag. Ik gebruik deze monitor voor de ps3 en voor mn pc.

It is! Thanks to the fast respondtime i've almost never had any lag while gaming. I'm using this monitor for the ps3 and for my pc.

I read quite a lot on this monitor and it reads really good. The letters and numbers are with no blurry spots around them. It doesn't bother the eyes at all. (I'm currently using the computer with a minimum of 4 hours a day).
