i think that it was a natural progression for wesley. he was in so many hard rock acts that have loose ties to punk that he had to get sick of screaming and violence. he just wants to sing and have a good time now.
No, it's not a natural progression. This kind of 'music' sucked in the 80s, and it sucks now. You're probably too young to realize the irony here. Hardcore rebelled against many things in the 80s, including this type of moronic shallow electronic hullabaloo.
i don't have enough room to explain how much i may or may not disagree with you. let me just say i have earned my punk stripes in living the most base of lifestyles over a period of years involved in the scene, i have also realized that people mature. keep in mind these guys performed at the no fun festival. keep in mind he still runs a diy publishing company, and his previous involvement in some girls and american nightmare are more than enough credibility for most people.
this sounds ok, but people need to stop trying to use the joy division/new order sound, it's been done already, it's only interesting the first time like when interpol did it and moving units ect.
please remember we are in a new decade good band

I hear no joy division on this piece actually...
more like a deeper & little dark version of the petshop boys xD

Bit of 'Your Silent Face' by New Order thrown in there by the sound of it.

I got the same 'Your Silent Face' moment.
Good track all the same.

@rwinckworth Totally agreed, it's like Your Silent Face and Temptation mixed together...
