  • My bottle of Oneill wetsuit cement has dried out, and is no longer liquid, but gummy. What can I do to make it liquid again???

  • @kneelocoveproduction I think you will be best off buying a new bottle.

I would be afraid to recommend adding anything to it to liquefy that might change the consistence and therefore causing the suit to leak.

    thanks for the feedback,

  • @Spongerking45 the sg5 is one of the warmest suits on the market.

  • man this guy talks like hes talking to retards...wtf lol. also can anybody advise me on the actual practical differences between the psycho 1 and 2? seems like its a £50 difference just for a bit different material, everything else is the same

  • one word: Patagonia

  • I need a new wetsuit! Always bought oneill because they're the best! HOOK ME UP BRO and I'll post a review on whatever suit you send me.

  • It's interesting how on the MUTANT which retails for about $330, they really sell the fact that it doesn't have a back zipper and how that gives you way better flexibility.

BUT, on the more expensive Psycho II and super expensive PsychoFreak both have zippers in the back. So, that would tell me the chest zipper thing isn't all that great.

  • You are correct-- sort of. There is a trade-off between warmth and flexibility. The Mutant is designed to give you maximum flexibility with a chest-zip, while incorporating some features that will also allow you to add warmth (hood attachment).

But the reason the zipper is in the back on the other two models you mentioned is for maximum warmth, using warmer neoprene panels on the chest areas. Also, O'neill knows that most wetsuit customers prefer a back zip, so they make most suits as so.

  • Thanks for the reply. Very informative. Now if I could only find a Pyscho II on sale somewhere in my size. Can't find a MT on sale to save my life right now. Found many other sizes, but no MT on sale. Bumming.

  • Wait... i'm confused? Is the Psycho II the best one on the market or the PsychoFreak? Because he said that they were the best on the market on both of them....?

  • tiny little air bubbles in neoprene? how fucking innovative

  • A wetsuit is only as good as the fit. The stretch in these modern suits means they will "forgive" small errors in fitting - by stretching. But if it don't feel right in the water, it ain't right for you. None of these wetsuit makers let you try it on in the water, so trying it on in the shop gives you limited information. Also, they change their models so often that you can't directly compare a relatively new suit with a newer model. Take you time. "psycho" and "freak" are just words.

  • which wetsuit is better/warmer. the psycho 1 or the mutant?

  • the only difference is that the mutant has a detachable hood

  • psycho freak! the best!

  • Did you end up buying one of these? How do you like it? I'm looking to buy one Psycho II or Mutant right now. But not so sure about the front-zip of Mutant.

Oneill suits are higher priced than the entire industry w/ exception of Patagonia of course.

  • i got the psycho 2 and it is amazing. super warm, flexible and comfortable. i'd definitely recommend it.

  • @r32adt3db the front zip is far more flexible and offers much more comfort,it may be a little bit hard to put on,but once you are in it,you will immedietly notice the difference, the last two suits i had were chest zips ,i cant picture myself going back to using a back zip.

  • Do I get a discount for watching this lol
