  • Nostalgia... how addicted i was

  • FOR THE LOVE OF GOD BLIZZARD PLEASE MAKE SOME VAMILLA ONLY SERVER. this place was so damn cool.... nostalgic face :|

  • @eaglerouge :( I even miss WotLK (even though it wasn't that good) I wonder if we will ever get old WoW back. Even if it is for one day only. I miss the old days :(

  • @XandWacky They should open up vanilla servers. It would make me happy.

  • 4:00 - end.. best bit <3

  • Also i remember when i used to quest my lvl 45-50 range elemental troll shaman. so fun!

  • IDK but i kinda find 3:45 to end creepy because i dont understand it... what does it mean???

  • WoW music makes me suffer...i remember the old days:(

  • Reminds me too much of old WoW :). And I'm not sure why, but the Venture Company mind in Mulgore also has this music

  • I thank you for uploading this.

  • ton of my time getting into supposedly unaccessible parts of an area, and practically roamed around the tops of every mountain bordering the lands. It was fun as hell, but pointless lol.

  • Pre-Burning Crusade World of Warcraft just tops out above any of these silly new expansions IMO. The whole story/lore of the original Warcraft series was already fucked to begin with upon the introduction of Draenies. When I played WoW in its early stage, all I really did was do the quests and explore a shitload of the land more than anything else. I couldn't have ever given the slightest shit about PVP, only the places and SOME of the quests. I had so much of my maps filled in. I even spent a

  • I wish I could play this game before it was hacked to pieces with all these boring, inconsistent expansions. Man, the Burning Steppes was like THE MOST dangerous place in the game when WoW first came out. Molten Core was also the most dangerous dungeon level. I just find the idea of a place like Naxxramas crawling with fuckin' plagued roaches and rotting zombies > than a place like that fiery pit of hell we called Molten Core. Come one; a damn Lich > then a Elemental God, please...

  • Life goes on. We can only hope they make better things in the future. But one thing is certain;

We cannot come back to the past.

  • @keyboardfriend it is the sad reality, but atleast we can still remember the good old days

  • \this is a weird \question to ask about WoW on a music vid. But I have a file called old world or something related to that which is along name and it says it cant be opened. Any suggestions? ANd if possible. Can I transfer GB from console to console? Great music!

  • @XandWacky well, PC to PC

  • best at wow is music...

  • Black rock is all but deserted, it is now just another place you visit to level up and forget when you are in your higher 60's and 70's. Considering no one raids at level 60 any more.

It really is a shame because it was so mysterious, even after raiding MC I still felt as if there was more to the place. That something was still raging beneath it all.

I hope blizzard restores this place back to its original "feel" in cata.

  • Oh those were the days, I absolutely love this music and I still do, I often go into Searing Gorge but mainly Burning Steppes to relive past memories

  • great clip. have any of you guys checked out the wow cheats pack on warcraftbotsXinfo (replace X with .) ? it is awesome, i recently down loaded it. its got completely everything in it, gold guides, bots, hacks, glitches as well as the new arena glitch. i probably should not reveal to people about it however at the very least it gives you all a reasonable opportunity to dl it before i pwn you all

  • You need to add Alterac Mountains, and Ruins of Alterac. Just saying

  • blackrock is now dead...but it is now being revived greatly with the new dungeon finder lol

  • @Espada623 How dead was it?

  • @XandWacky oh people never really visited dungeons until the new finder came out on patch like 3.3.3 or somthin like that.

  • Epic

  • reminds me a little of some soundtracks from lord of the rings :)

  • ps. she was lv60 for a long time until she was compelled to continue further down thee road... original wow was thee best!!! nowadays is okie dokie, but i have an awful feeling about this next expansion:|

  • I once knew a "half" darkiron-dwarven/warrior who decided not to venture on to thee outlands or northrend, but fell in luv w/blackrock mountain & thee brotherhood. She guided most groups & tanked for 'em as well. She was thee mistress of blackrock depths, mother to thee titans.. & knew it well.. too well! Ahh, when she was around, Rotlf!!=)

  • Climax at 2:00 is awesome. reminds me of my vanilla days. And less of this casual shit of a game they have now.

  • This brings back memories of stabbing elfs in the face with my rouge.....

Old wow was better and the new content allows you to powerlevel to 80 easily and never let you back into azeroth.

  • This should be played in the coming instance : Deepholm

  • I remember flying through this from Ironforge to Stormwind and SHITTING myself at seeing some of the skulls and question marks for the levels.

  • @stufflikeheartz

good times, i always tried to look for someone down there

  • I saw someone once. I was flying by and I saw someone get pwned by the one giant dragon(the one in the picture, I believe). It was quite hilarious.

  • try trying to target them, i dont think it can be lol

  • Tracks like this are what made WoW a Warcraft game.

    I miss those glory days.

  • the new content is good. i like playing through the "arthas" story, and i will always enjoy doing new content. with that being said there was something even greater about the original game. i wish Blizz had a server with a 60 cap. they would have to also put in the last patch before they updated the BC talent points. i think it would be fun to have both types of servers available. give me a choice, i did pay for the game, i should be able to play it how i want.

  • brax303

ive been saying the same thing FOREVER man

    pre BC servers ftw!

  • When loads people quit WoW and say "It wasn't worth it". I agree with the new stuff but with the old stuff like this (going down to an old ruin full of monsters after crossing a volcanic badland full of elites) is what made it worth playing. Pretty much the same with BC with Gruul's Lair. This is pretty much one of the main reasons I quit; it lost all the enjoyment.

  • I do understand that WoW will always change, but this music had better not. Brings back memorys AND gives you nightmares. >:D

  • It was event a great "remix", in Zangarmarsh was the AQ music reforged.

  • The choir in this peice is AWESOME

  • Brings back memorys..

  • for pvp, TBC was the best out of the the exps. you actually had to have skill to beat ppl in the arena and in certain BG situations. Wrath is a 3-button nightmare where all you do is nuke the other guy faster than he can do you in.

  • Old Wow was the best...i always remembered, i would go with like a group of 20 people to kill things to get to the blackrock mountain, and from there into the molten core etc...

    i miss those days =)

the music ALWAYS made me shutter.... like it just scared me everytime i was a level 20, using a gryphon to fly from ironforge to stormwind. and i would pass over these scary ass lands...and i always wondered what it was like to be in there....then i finnally went =p

  • @JusticeRetroHunter That's a scary, annoying, and a place where death is imminent.

  • @JusticeRetroHunter Pre tbc ftw <33

  • @JusticeRetroHunter So funny when you walk from BS into Redridge mountains and suddenly the music is all peaceful

  • @JusticeRetroHunter Ever walk to the gates from Redridge mountains?

  • @JusticeRetroHunter i was exactly the same lol.

  • I miss these two maps being full of elites like the dragonkin and rock guys arent elites anymore. I remember using my hunter pet as cannon fodder most of the time I was there. The music added tons more to the menace and darkness of these maps.

Real shame they changed these maps into plain lvling ones. At least you can still get to the secret area in Burning Steppes

  • huh>??what secret area?

  • You can get to the waterfall in that map by the human city through a cliff in Burning Steppes =]

  • :o never knew there were elites there

  • sound like doomdays

  • If the game didn't change, there would be no point in paying every month yea?

  • this track is absolutely Amazing...love it so much!

  • I will never forget the old days...

Leveling in places like Searing Gorge and Burning Steppes never gets boring...

  • remember the elite dragonkin? now they are non-elites its piss easy.back in the old days burning stepps was dangerous,it had a sense of menace to it,there were hunter bots, and that massive elemental elite roaming around, not to mention scorpids and whelps.

now the place is dead,i quit wow in march, the magic had gone, the old world was left to rot.

  • I'm pretty sure this track plays in Ragefire Chasm as well.

  • ye it does

  • Ah...the memories =/ i remember walking to molten core with 39 other peeps as it was yesterday

  • a true "Fan" of the game would continue playing the game not matter what even if

he miss the old days just because epic are easier to get does not mean that the game is not fun anymore the game now is in is second expansion so of course it as to be easier for the orginal content otherwise only a low number of player would reach endgame content

  • Bullshit. I'm a true fan of the old game. The current WOW is a completely different game then it was after release.

For me the expansions ruined it.

  • you may complain if you want but a game cannot stay the same forever it as to evolve even though you may not like it some other does like it because there more to see and explore

  • i love goin to burnin steppes just for this song! :3

  • this game really was amazing at one time. im over it now and the only thing i have left now is the music. ill have lots of fond memorys to this particular track. maybe, just maybe one day someone will host a server with a level 60 cap and the 1.12 patch or whatever the last one was before the BC talent updates

  • I really hope so too! Although Blizz are stubborn, and would prob take it as a defeat.. - . -

  • OMG WAILING CAVERNS!

  • Um, no...RFC.

  • anyone know if the music to the Plaguelands has been posted somewhere?

  • This was truly the pinnacle of WoW. Pre-BC, they actually put effort into this game and required you to be competent to play.

I miss the days of BRD, UBRS, LBRS and even MC. Blackrock Mountain was the best area in WoW to date.

  • Actually was requires alot more skill now even in the 5 man dungeons if you think about it, it is just that people have become much better at the game, remember we were all noobs back then.

  • I don't know, a lot of the post-BC quest are pretty easy and repetitive

  • I disagree, after tbc all dungeons are ez mode compared to tbc and pre-tbc.

In pre-tbc and tbc you needed more effort to end dungeons(big examples are Strat for pre-tbc and MGT for tbc season),in WoLK you don't need to mark in pulls(expect some raid encounters & bosses),also now getting epics is 100% easier than pre-tbc....i really miss the pre-tbc days where getting a blue weapon fromUBRS/Strat was something to be proud of,and getting the "fat epics" was a nearly impossible feat.

  • Agreed. The game was really less rewarding and it took mad time and dedication to get anywhere. I see people walking around in full tier sets left and right now adays.

  • @callmeslice23

Completely agree with you! WoW is worse now,I stopped the order of cataclysm after I played the beta and will never come back to it.

This music makes me thoughtful of old times, 2005 where I first played WoW.

  • @callmeslice23 That is actually true but there are those who can combat it. What I can say is that Old WoW was indeed a pinnacle, especially with Blackrock, that was the PvP warzone before BC. Then the content they added with Cataclysm does and does not work seeing how it has made a lot of people mad.

  • BLack rock depth soundtrack as well :P

  • hehe ragefire chasm i like that instance

  • this is one of my favorite soundtracks in game, that's how i lvld so fast from 50-55 or 56, just turned off all other sound, and listend to the track =)

  • damn the sont itself sounds like it wants to kill someone lol

  • burning steppes music, and searing gorge

  • Tonight we dine in hell.

  • thats what she said

  • OH YEAH!
