  • Sorry, "shooteraod", however that number is conservative depending on options. The Cessna 182 Skylane with Garman G-1000 glass panel STARTS at $250K. Up-grade to a full dual-panel EFIS with radar, 3-axis autopilot, stereo, etc, and you'll exceed that $340K easily. Cessna's web site refers. That having been said, to whom where you refering as a 'moron' and allegedly knows better about the cost of current-production aircraft?

    Steve Robeson

    PPASEL since 1974

  • $340,000.00 airplane...MY ASS. There is NO DAMN WAY "that" airplane cost anywhere near that much...unless it is full of drugs. You reporters need to get your shit straight...or at least get some sort of clue as to what you are talking about. Saying something like she did on the cost of this plane makes her look dumber than a moron to all the rest of the world pilots and those who actually do know the correct value.

  • @shooteraod It could easily cost that much, look up prices for new cessnas... the 182 inst exactly cheap..

  • @shooteraod A new NAVlll Garmin G1000 equipped Skyhawk 172S costs $307,500 USD. Optional equipment can cost over $65,000 USD. A 182T is about a $100K more. Yeah, easily $340K. The plane in the video looked pretty new.
