Another example of a 'rock opera" when that particular genre was fairly popular. The Who had a song called "A Quick one while he's Away" then of course, 'Tommy'. The Doors had a couple of long format songs, but they were more like Morrison's poems set to music. I always liked the way this song ends, clarinet and piano and the heart of rock n roll!
