You can disable the sound so its less annoying. Its really useful if say the keylock slider on your N97 breaks (which happened to ALOT of people).

This is not fake, the program simply calls the Nokia sensor API which allows you to detect changes in the accelerometer. Then based on the reading of that function he can call another method to unlock the screen etc. I have never developed on a nokia platform before but im sure its something along those lines.
