the m14 is an extremely good gun. i got it lightly used from a friend for $100. But be careful with the ABS stocks, its not uncommon for them to break!and that extractor will pop off. both of these occurrences have happened to me. great gun, but be careful!

@SlySquriel Hi! There should be a philips head screw on the bottom of your magazine, unscrew that and pull on the push/ pull the mechanical aspect of the magazine out. Check for problems, be sure to lubricate your magazine just a bit. BE Careful, the philips head screw might screw into a little silver "clamp", If so DON'T LOSE IT. If you can't tell whats wrong with It, compare it to another highcaps mechanics or "insides". Hope this helps!

@ArcadeGman Thanks! But on the bottom of my mag there is a screw with a 6-sided hole. A phillips head wont fit. I don't know what will. I tried everything. and nothing will fit. So, that being said, do you know what kind of tool I can use?

Can you use AGM mags?? i have a AGM M14 and its a great gun, but it "freezes" up every so often. I have gotten pretty good at trouble shooting that problem in the heat of battle tho so its ok. i got for about $150.. .or so i believe.

I'm looking for a new rifle sorta gun like this, Mainly for sniping/ support for sniper. I'm not sure if i should get this, a regular sniper rifle or what. @PossessedDonutz m16's have the same barrel length as the m14, but most have a rail under the carry handle so you can put a scope on it, but i think you can buy a rail to attach to the m14 so you can put a scope on it

@PossessedDonutz get one of these (or a TM M14), crank up the power as far as you can so you can use heavier BBs, maybe swap out the hop unit, and it'll be as accurate as you need it to be, while still having semi/fully automatic capability. I dunno about rails/scope mounts for it though.

@fearthegeeklord You don't have to break your gearbox to get high accuracy... make sure you get a tightbore with a good, CONSISTENT bore. Heavier BBs work too, but most fields have muzzle energy limitations (aka FPS limitations with a certain weight of BB), so using an M200 is probably unnecessary.
