  • This is massively expensive self indulgent "It'll be so funny" crap.

  • Très fab!

  • why does it have zelda music?

  • Oh wow, did I really deserve that reaction? XD

  • horreur -.-!

  • the production designer must have had a time machine :D

  • I love it!

  • i love the pure retro 60s look, plus, they speak french lol

  • I don't get what the negative comments are about.

It's their way of promoting the maintaining of the environment, in a fun and humourous way. The whole 60's feel of it is just awesome in my opinion :):)

  • Way too long and meandering.

  • this is great, marketing at its finest. i know i am being suckered into buying stella artois while watching but after seeing such a well put together ad I cant help but want to try it. lol I also feel the sudden urge to have a pet hedgehog named Claude. haha

  • South Park Studios brought me here...can i ask what this is ?

  • Whenever you see the robot you hear Zelda music. Aaaah memories

  • What is the woman who plays mother nature called?! She is HOT.

  • I need a budweiser after wasting 15 mins of my life watching this!

  • WTF IS THIS SHIT! i realy wanted to understand why some of you think this ad is good but after 5 minutes i could take no more!!!!!

  • no u..

  • AMAZING!!! help to take care Mother Nature!

  • I don't get it. I tried. I really tried. I just don't get it.

  • It's as suave as a hedgehog wearing sunglasses. WITH... a croissant.

    Apparently.

  • As suave as Jean-Paul Belmondo sipping an Expresso outside a cafe in Paris... while Catherine Deneuve drops by to eat said Croissant - while being filmed doing it by Francois Truffaut, I dare suggest.

  • FANTASTICCCCCCC

  • Florence and the Machine almost sound better in low quality. The video is brilliant.

  • Stereo - what is this stereo? And now is super-mono sound... Florence and the Machine.

    I love it!

  • pure dead brilliant! well done! :D

  • A nice attempt at rebranding the company, as an eco-friendly, green, nature loving, tree hugging group, with a twist.

It definately got the point of "We're going green. cos its what all the cool kids are doing"

    message across.

Was the 60's theme used to try and convey Britains boom after the post-war rationing and hardships. I know we're slowly finding our way out of the recession, but we're no where near as hard up as back then!

And yes the music accompanying the robot is from the Zelda game

  • Lower wish they had something like this in them

  • Difficult to pull off. Comes across as Eurotrash crossed with The Word without the naughty bits. It's in keeping with the recent lower alcohol Stella ads but fails in its attempt at suaveness. Or perhaps I'm missing the irony and am consequently not in the target market. Maybe they already have the stereotypical Stella drinker captured and are hoping to diversify?

  • Mate the fonts are wrong etc etc its just a bit of fun! chill out. We are all add wise these days spelling it is just boring! its better than a surfing cat........ well maybe not. the surfing cat was cool. But so was the charlie the unicorn! isnt any more of course. totally over that

  • What?

  • brave. but my god is it boring.

  • And you are,,,,,,,,,,?

  • Did anyone notice the mono-phonic Zelda Ocarina of Time theme tune at 9:00 when the robot speaks? In the background...

  • Yes actually, that would be the theremin Zelda theme by The Aether Experiment

  • i know one of the extas whoo go barry

  • Swingin'. I think if Stella are going for a new look they made a big leap with this kind of advertising.

  • its boring

  • why dont you and zoltar451 go have a drink together and do something interesting

  • Interesting concept and really well done...love Florence ,bien sur!

  • Love it! Glad to know advertisers still have fresh ideas that work :)

  • some ones not gettin it!

  • This is the way of TV

  • Very, very bold.

  • got told about this but it was real hard to find. Its very cool

  • funny the amount of money they've spent on advertising this video....yet I see it's only had 1,799 views

  • wow 15 mins on Youtube. I didn't know you could do that.

    This program looks great

  • Elle a fait un flop la pub

  • did anyone read about it in METRO in LONDON??

  • Hmm, tres interresant!

I like the billboard ads but this is something else altogether. A bit long and slightly strange - 15 minutes to report how Stella operates ecologically?

    And why is 1963 significant?

  • Online campaign kicks off today - let's see how many people that pulls in. It might be a grower.

  • Alain Du Monde? What's French or indeed Belgian (I'm not sure where Stella comes from anymore) for Partridge?

  • we say "perdrix" in French (i don't know Belgian)

  • Belgium(a city called Leuven/Louvain)

  • I like it. If you think that Stella came in with the problem that they had become a chav drink, i think giving the brand this kind of feel goes a long way to solving that problem. good stuff.

  • Oh, it's so ironic.

Or do I mean self indulgent and overlong?

  • Front page on the Metro and only 116 views and 1 (now 2) ratings??!! I hope to see this go up a lot more by the end of the day.

  • I love the 'Recyclage de Luxe' adverts I see everywhere on billboards, as a graphic artist I was hoping to see the same style in this video. Quite disappointing from a visual point of view but I guess that's just me, and I'm sure you guys know what you're doing :)

I suppose it is representative of the 60's but I would have liked to see that contemporary style brought through from the billboard ads, but it is a great video nonetheless.
