@pasterizada place a camocorder on the end of a meade telescope with the lens removed from the camcorder and telescope. the cam is a sony cam but the ccd chip inside it needs to be exposed to the mirror of the scope. A camcorder is better for this than a camera designed especially for scopes.

This is prob the best way, I think more people with access to larger telescopes should be filming the moon to get the best definate pics of it instead of relying on old videos we need to be kept up to date
Those caves and the dome can also be seen at 0:37 in this video. If that was a crater then the white area would be shadowed and the dark area would be lit. Everything else has darkness at 11 o’clock shadows. But the shadowed area of the dome is at 5 o’clock position. this is some great footage. Sorry I had hard time explaining. If you look even closer at the caves just below the dome, you can see the cave floors in front of the cave entrance. Contact me please. I am interested in posting these.

It is a very blurry shot of the mountain complex known as "Mons La Hire" in Mare Imbrium, located at latitude 27.7 north, 25.5 west, not far from the impact crater Lambert. The mountain is best seen in some lunar orbiter photos and has a couple of impact craters on it as well as some lumpy texture. It looks like a tower only because of the slopes and shadowing (it has been there for millions of years).
Why are the quality of the images so poor? NASA do have the technology to get better, as we saw in images taken by MRO of Opportunity at the rim of Victoria crater on Mars - even Oppy's tracks are visible in the pictures.

@Vasilouxxx The castle isn't actually on the moon's surface. It appears above it near some dilapidated glass-like dome. The shard is some several hundred miles away from the tower that appears to have some "cube" structure on the top of it.
Yea I have to agree, they can take sharp images of far off galaxies and stars being formed, but give us one, just one, clear, focused and sharp photo of something on the moon that they say is there.

I see the object in question, but with such a low quality view, there is no way to say for sure what your seeing. It seems a lot more probable to me that it is an odd shaped rock (we know the moon is covered with them, after all).

Coordinates? I'll view it myself and report my findings.I'm using a Meade 16" lx200-ACF which is 406mm and 950x and the moon is clear as hell from Hawaii,I've never seen a "tower".

not so much as blurriness but a swimming or wobbling effect but there are some nights that there is none where I live. I'm in process. We are in the rainy season but there should be a few clear nights hopefully on the full moon.

@GLICKTON HI, there are many towers on the moon. The tallest one we've shown on another youtube video was estimated to be 7 miles high.

@Vasilouxxx The castle isn't actually on the moon's surface. It appears above it near some dilapidated glass-like dome. The shard is some several hundred miles away from the tower that appears to have some "cube" structure on the top of it.

I see the object in question, but with such a low quality view, there is no way to say for sure what your seeing. It seems a lot more probable to me that it is an odd shaped rock (we know the moon is covered with them, after all).

open my eyes? how about focus yours ;P I suppose this is an out of focus video because the author knows it is not a tower. Otherwise he would find a better telescope to view and video it and report his findings to get credit for the find. A cheap 60mm refractor lets you easily view,Aristarchus,Gassendi and Lamont. Coordinates? I'll view it myself and report my findings.I'm using a Meade 16" lx200-ACF which is 406mm and 950x and the moon is clear as hell from Hawaii,I've never seen a "tower".

On the unclear images, when you're shooting though the Earth's atmosphere, won't you encounter blurriness anyway?
Your thoughts on this would be much appreciated; and, I look forward to seeing your images.

not so much as blurriness but a swimming or wobbling effect but there are some nights that there is none where I live. I'm in process. We are in the rainy season but there should be a few clear nights hopefully on the full moon.
