@sszorin I have the feeling that that phrase was a big compliment. I don't talk like that but I feel it is like she's the "BOMB" which I hear overused...and other phrases. Response to- eleven1189 -Part 2- God watches over Emmylou, she is His gift to us. Her role on the US and the world music scene is very undervalued even though she has done [and some other musicians too] an enormous amount of work to basically save the american popular music from the degenerate sounds and styles of the [primarily] 80s and beyond, when the acoustic sound and roots, folk and country music were dismissed as passe. She has been a helper, a tutor and a music mother to many musicians.

Since you seem to be an ignoramus I will explain something to you. Ever since there was music and singing, people sang each other's songs. It is called "doing a cover" and it is a universal practice. If you do not like it then stop listening and start reading books instead. Emmylou can write her own songs, and beautiful they are too.

I remember first hearing Emmylou sing with Linda Ronstadt on Heart Like a Wheel way back when. Her voice still gives me goose bumps, and has never been equaled. This is so beautiful.

-you used a run-on sentence

-cursing doesn't mean I'm illiterate. It means I curse.

Taking cursing as a sign of low class is your prerogative, but I guarantee you I'm very human and reasonably intelligent. For the record, I think calling people subhuman because of what you perceive is their musical taste is low-class behavior. Class is about respect, not refraining from saying the word shit.
