I loved fighting Solis, as he is a very good fighter and getting that experience was great for me, and I think he could go very far. Unfortunantly I didn't win, but will hopefully have a little more than 10 days next time I get a fight like this. As far as being an embarresment to the sport, at least I am not an embarresment to my home town, and to my family, who show love and support everytime I step into the ring. ;-)

At the moment Gomez would probably win. He has been longer in this game, he is taller, a lefty, has a good chin and similiar power compared to Solis. My fear is that Solis will slow down further, if doesn't start to lose unnecesary weight. Carlos is bigger, but weights less...

I don't know, if Solis has "star power and charisma" or will ever have. He is still a good technician, but lacks speed and power. Haye seems to be far more commanding inside and outside the ring and has already achieved far more than Solis. You forget that the professional version is different from the amateur version of Solis.
