This monument they made is real as to what it's commemorated to is not. It's commemoration goes to Halo itself not an actual war. Still when you look at everything that happened in Halo..it gives an amazing story of how Humanity can survive and how when everyone has a common enemy..it can create new allies and friends. This is proven not only by the humans in Halo, but the Covenant coming together with Earth. Seng'Heli and Humans coming together as one against the flood and the covenant.

All of the Spartans were enlisted personnel whose original missions were against rebels in the Outer Colonies. It wasn't until the after Harvest that the Spartans even received the MJOLNIR armor.

It was so beautiful! I too want to cry! I felt so real! Since alot of Bungie's updates and messages take place like they actually come from the games world, I think this video was the same. I think thouse 3d renderings used are actual ingames models used to make the models.
