It's actually from the movie "Snow Falling on Cedars." It goes best with the scene depicting the landing on Tarawa.

That wasn't Star Trek trailer. That was from The Matrix Revolutions teaser trailer which in turn is from the James Newton Howard "Snow Falling on Cedars" OST (1999).
