Yes, here in Italy everything is dubbed (except live show, @patu8010 :D) since the '30s, and we can boast some of the best dubbers in the world....but I agree with you all, subtitles could finally improve our English skills (which, currently, really suck...xD)...

@GuerrieroBartoli Yeah, maybe children's cartoons (and most animated films on theatres). In Finland for example they don't dub The Simpsons, Family Guy, Futurama, King of the Hill etc. Subbing doesn't cost as much, and tbh I like my shows subbed.

It seems they like to dub even live action shows in countries like France, Germany and Italy.
