If you can get past the mental gag reflex, then you have " 'er licked" so to speak! rofl One time, I ate them fried and thought they were regular (sea) oysters& commented that I'd ate them raw before, should have seen the hostess' face! For the record, I've only ate the sea kind raw before, never the mountain kind!

When I was like 8 or 9 I spent a couple weeks of the Summer in Montana with my aunt and uncle. One night we went out to dinner and my uncle ordered rocky mountain oysters, I didn't know what they were at the time, I thought they were real shellfish oysters, so they told me to just eat them and see if I like them. And I probably ate like 7 of them, they tasted like chcken nuggets. Even though they tasted good, now that I know what they are I will never eat them again.
