Don't get the wrong impression on Second Life if you never played or you never got used to it. There is many opportunities for Second Life members that Thereians don't have. Such as building things in world and taking college courses. There is also many more opportunities to gain Linden and creating a business. You don't have to become a premium member to get the same privileges as a premium member.

@cutetickles Not that it matters much now, but any Thereian could become a designer in There.com and many did through free classes. The University of There offered may design and other classes icluding a few for college credit. In There anyone could control a chunk of land. In Second Life only premium members could. I hardly matters now. Those colleges are leaving SL in droves at this point.
