Local municipal has no say and are happy when they throw us a couple cents of profit. That $ they pass our way makes headlines in the papers. Nestle are making huge profits and our local aquifers are drained and ecosystems affected. I was shocked to hear how much they are pumping, it's in the millions of gallons per year with multiyear contracts.
