Love the Jeeps, hate the music. I had to turn off the volume.

I never did extreme off road with my 93 and 98 Cherokees but man could they go through snow. Sometimes the drifts were higher than the headlights but they would push right through even with the stock Wrangler Eagles.

With 104,000 miles on the 93 it had never needed to go to the dealer for anything. Everything worked. The guy who bought it from me used it to pull a big camping trailer. He said he loved it too. GO JEEP!

today i took my 96 xj to the shop to get a 3.5 lift however i saw a 00 wrangler 54k miles for roughly the same cost as it was for the lift...the xj is great but i hear good things about the tjs and was wondering if i should sell the xj and pick up the wrangler...

yeah almost because its had the factory suspension since 96 so its pretty much riding on the bump stops now..and the brakes need to be replaced..lots of work to be done underneath..but yeah thers alot of wranglers being sold for around that price....a 3.5 lift ,bfs,and some new steel rims package from rustys comes to aound the same price as the tj plus labor of course

Screw you guys! Jeep has made some of the best-known and best-loved four by four's of all time! Better than any Toyota. Land cruisers are too heavy and sink in packed down snow and get stuck. Jeep CJ5 is light enough to drive on top of packed snow and not fall in! Believe me I know, I own both vehicles I just mentioned. My Jeep CJ5 does better than my Toyota Land cruiser in any off-road situation.

that 4.0L is the best engine, all Inline 6s are. I know from experience; 1948 Chevy pickup odo has rolled over and quit working, 1970 240z 235,xxx miles, 1989 Cherokee 257,xxx miles, 1993 Supra 204,xxx miles. All of these have a Inline 6 and have the factory motor

my 93 Bronco with 302 and 4" lift and 33" tires played with 2004 Rubicon. I went anywhere he could go. I couldn't fit through a few spots he could between trees, but otherwise my Bronco showed up his vaunted Rubicon out in Tahauya National Forest.

dana 44 is decent (same that Ford/Chevy run in the front for the 80-90's trucks). good for up to 35" tires in mild 4x4 action

that Dana 30 not so much. it's probably safe with 32" tires. I personally would be scared of it blowing out though. That Rubicon I was talking about had a Dana 35? I believe and it only took 1 yr before that thing disentigrated.

I still regret selling that Bronco. it's fun driving a 4000lb vehicle without sway bars

first off, dana 44's are quite stout. true, toyota rear axles are stonger, but that doesn't mean it performs better offroad. and d44's don't come standard on most jeeps, just some models of the wrangler. these jeeps started out with a d30 up front and either a d35 or a chrysler 8.25 rear axle. i'm sure the majority of the xj's in this video have had some sort of axle swap.
