A thumbs down? how shall we ever survive? Who are you to speak for the FOM? all the FOM's we have had so far have been overwhelmingly supportive, I was even planning to take up the invites for the social on the 13th. I guess not then.

I apologise, I misread your intentions as hostile. The tone was simmilar to when I was in another group quesioned on the subject of 'using the flash' which sought to prohibit it. I would be interested in knowing how one can copyright claim a symbol used for a political orgainsation that was banned in 1940 and underwent no less than 4 reincarnations. John does not sound like he is related to Eric Piercy, the man who designed action within unity.

@peppermintjohn666 Back in the 1970s I used to do propoganda work for UM and in those days the flash was never used I remember going to an Opel garage (if you are old enough to remember them) and took a brochure as their logo was the same but other way round, cut it out and stuck it on top of broadsheets sent down by headquaters. You must remember things were very different then everything run by old blackshirts who were like gods to a young man like me.

I can appriciate why you might not like this issue, it was a hurried and obscure first attempt. The Graphics were designed with the intent of generating reaction and publicity which it did. What you have to bare in mind is it is a medium for ghetting young people invlved in these ideas.

"Elite" by whose definition, and by whose standards? Who is eligible to qualify for this position, and by what reasoning?

'Elite' primarily in the sense that it forms its own tier in society like the political class of liblabcon, the establishment before then. you will have heard the term 'political class' being thrown around, it originates from an Italian fascist called Vilfredo Pareto who argued that the liberal elite of that time was inept corrupt and failing and there needed to be a new elite to overthrow it which came in the modernist-fascist movement. It isn't rocket science.

Surely if this were just about me wanting power i would have joined the political Elite that is in power, rather than going to the incredibly daunting task of organising a new political class from scratch. Lets fact check, name me ONE peoples 'peoples movement' in history that have ever suceeded and endured, this is not ablut selfishness this is about how political power works and any pary with ambitions of coming to office needs to abide by it.

Do you really think in this society where 40% of people don't read books will all rise up to embody a political cause. poltics is as minority sport amongst a minority sport and a victory on that from is the only possible way to achive power. look at the social revolution, that came to absolute power by infecting the acedemic youth of the 60's-80's a political vehicle was not even necissary. we must do the same to revolt against what has happened, it is fact. there is no need to be so cynical,
