The holy Prophet(Sallal laahu alaihi wasallam) said "The devil continually pursues humans as a wolf pursues sheep. The wolf only dares to attack those sheep which have separated from the rest of the flock and are standing alone. And so, my followers and my devotees! Save yourselves from being caught in the traps of misguidance and firmly remain with the largest and most well known group of Muslims!" [ Imam Ahmed]

@alfulani5 Qur'an, Bible, Tora and Gita etc. thumping freaks. It's funny how certain u are that I'm the one completely wrong when u can't back anything u say with real life empirical evidence or rationale; u just spew ur dogma and condemnations; typical fundamentalist scum! And nyways there is no such thing as eternal punishment; the truth is the way of Karma; the true way of Allah and you get punished for the extent of ur actions then ur freed once u truly repent. That is the truth, the perfect
@alfulani5 the fact of evolution and literally believe that "God" created humans directly with his "hands" out of clay instead of understanding it was a gradual process. You ignore actual facts of life,"empircal" observable facts to insist that the literal word of the Qur'an is the truth just like any other religious fanatic fool. I don't understand why you people like to live in such ignorance. Why don't you just seek the truth and respect others!? Islam means to make peace, it is a beautiful
@alfulani5 I prefer to be a confused Sufi, at least seeking the truth then one who continuously denies it! So what if I mix Hindu concepts, if they're true and make ur life better all the better! and ny ways there isn't really one Hindu religion and my faith is more influenced by Buddhism. This kind of belief is much better than ur messed up fairy tale "Allah" who sits on a chair in the heavens; how can u believe the absolute and supreme is so human like, it's so bullshit. Fools like u deny
@BhattisexyJanan First, No one is begging you to discuss this matter.
Second, Sufism revolves around grave and saint worship and a multitude f innovated acts or worship which includes music, dancing and even sexual orgies, which are forbidden in Islam.
In Islam we have been asked specifically NOT TO blindly follow any so called chief priests, sheikhs and / or other holymen.
There's no benefit to urself, nor anyone else if ur belief in Islam is only based on the blind following of literal commands; because with such blind faith one cannot judge the veracity of the rules one is following. I've read and understand the Arabic of the Qur'an and know it contains great truths but nothing shud be accepted on blind faith as I've explained. The value of one's faith is in its veracity and practicality, not in the powerfulness or force of its claims.
They believe being a slave of their sheikh will take him to heaven.
In some Asian countries Mureeds even "offer" their wives and young daughters for the enjoyment of their sheikhs.
And thy are stupid enough to believe if they get a certificate from their sheikh it is like a ticket to heaven. It is so ridiculous to see dead Sufis being buried with the "certificate"placed beside them
@alfulani5 just don't evade the main issues we're discussing by citing extreme examples; great Sufi Sheikhs and philosophers never ensured their students heaven it was for them to achieve within themselves with the development of their knowledge and character and freeing them form the fears and attachments hat hinder them from the truth. That was the great teachings of Mevlana Rumi, Baba Bulleh Shah in Punjab, Amir Khusro and many other compaassionate humanist Sufis! and I stand by them and
THESE ARE THE VERY FOUNDATIONS OF SUFISM. Sufis HAVE TO worship their shiekhs. they HAVE TO perform sujood to him, kiss his feet and be like a dead body in the hands of the person who is washing it.
And HAVE TO follow all his commands, whether they are withing the bounds of Islam OR NOT!!
And I feel sorry for someone who has been in Riyadh and Allah kept his heart sealed.
@alfulani5 Well you don't need to feel sorry for me, feel sorry for yourself, you're one of those uncultured, ignorant Salafis that cannot discuss religion or any matter of faith with rationality. You're programmed to blindly follow the ruling, of that barbaric fool Mohd ibn AbdulWahhab and the main dirty Salafi scholars, isn't that shirk, even Mr. Wahab said that, contradicting his own actions! No prominent Sufi said we have to worship them, it's nowhere in the writings of Rumi, Bulleh Shah
@alfulani5 Amir Khusro or any others. You are truly the filthy Liar and munafiq, trying to discredit people with extreme examples. People like you embarrass Islam, and make people afraid and revolted towards it, because you don't apply its universal, humanitarian values, just your dogma.
And how dare you say Allah kept my heart sealed; you have no special knowledge of Allah so don't assume things you don't know! Your the one with a heart sealed in ur fanatic addiction, not the way of Allah!
And you should be LIAR for yourself, because you are taking your Islam from PERSONAL OPINIONS of people who came hundreds of years AFTER Rasool (sal) and his sahaba WHEN you can easily learn Islam from the original texts: ie. Quran and authentic hadith from the first generation sahaba.
And so called Sufi sheikhs molesting young boys are NOT EXTREME EXAMPLES. They are a daily occarance in Sufi communities and accpted by the hard core Sufis as an integral part of Sufism.
@alfulani5 and the clear reason why I don't follow Salafism even though I grew up in Riyadh is because I learned, saw and acknowledged all the irrationality and oppression that is in the Salafi doctrine. I reject Salafism and follow Sufism because I keep my heart and mind open to the reality of this world we live in and have to make the best of. I much prefer teachings of love, compassion and beauty rather than the mass produced "fast food" Islam of Salafism, particularly Saudi Salafis!
I never claimed the so called Saudi Salafism is 100% correct, And I never claimed everyone SHOULD follow it. Rather I said we should follow Islam as Rasool (sal) and his sahaba did.
Sufis HAVE to blindly follow ONE shiekh, BE his slave do sujood to him and be available for all his needs INCLUDING the sexual needs!!
And if you dont know this fact you must be following something other than Sufism.
@alfulani5 Well, I didn't say all Sufis are perfect, and sure there are examples where Sheikhs misuse their followers but that doesn't mean the whole concept of Sufism is wrong! Rumi never demanded his followers follow him blindly he just acted as a spritual guide and encouraged students to learn the truth for themselves as it is said in Islam and common sense! and Instead of trying to scapegoat Sufi Sheikhs, why don't u look at the "Sheikhs"of the other madhahib who are famous for molesting
@alfulani5 children when they go for Qur'an lessons in the relgious madrassas. So look at yourself first when you talk about others. I don't follow any ideology blindly, I understand and speak Arabic, read the Qur'an have studied all the main aspects of the Ahadith; so I know the main body of Islamic knowledge. At the end I always remember that nothing is to be accepted uncritically, even if it is from the Qur'an or hadith because your sense can only judge right and wrong according to emprical
@alfulani5 evidence. I believe in Sufism according to my own basic senses and ethically apply it to my life's context. That's what we should do in life whatever spritual tradition we follow; cause religion should be for living a better life and attaining peace, liberation and contentment.
Regarding ur question about sujood to Sheikh, it probably is permitted in a lot of the traditions as a sign of respect but in no way mandated. I don't see a problem to do sujood to a really spiritually bright
@alfulani5 person because I see the divine, the sacred and permanent Allah as transcendant and immaterial; it is in everything and everywhere; Allah is not a being literally sitting on the arsh. If we believe such things literallly we're applying fairy tales to real life which is the reason religion is so problematic these days. I'm a pantheist; so I believe the creator as an ever present state, not a being. So I see no relevant difference prostrating to a truly pious man or a symbol of the
@alfulani5 Creator's place ie the Qibla. So please don't waste my or your time by arguing over who to prostrate to; I see it as a really trivial and silly matter; it's the intention and knowledge that's important. And it is especially irrelevant to me because I don't belive in Allah as a separate being, I see it as a permanent , powerful immaterial state that is everywhere, thus we can reach into within ourselves. It's what the Buddhists call Nirvana, 0that's much better than a fairy tale "God"!
don't tolerate arrogant and ignorant Salafis trying to discredit them with slander. I grew up in Riyadh one of the heartlands of Salafism and don't ascribe to it because so much of the maddhab is oppressive and illogical. It's not based on personally learning and getting to know the meaning of Allah and his qualities. It's just bent on sticking to literal rules, a legal system to enter heaven, dnt need that! That said I respect Salafis (some r my friends) as with others when they respect me too.
