well Gouki still seems like an upgraded version of ryu so he has more moves in his arsenal to pwn ryu with so what if daigo lost he will still win it back sooner or later

Akuma has few more moves, but Ryu has better defense and has more power... Akuma is weaker. Yet, a well played Akuma is a royal pain in the ass to defeat, specially because Akuma has one of the best combos and those extra offensive moves.

The only problem is that Akuma's combo is low priority. (Other combos done at the same time will land first).

Daigo is the absolute king of SF though... I will never ever be that good. The guy could own me even with his eyes closed.
