  • The jingle never gets old.

  • reminds me of Lucy and Schroeder (Peanuts).

  • these remind me so much of the tish sketches from the League of gentlemen.

  • lol at first I thought the guy was Mitchell from Modern Family XD <3

  • yeah...tranny is a disrespectful slang term. Otherwise, i thought it was funny, mostly.

  • @cynicsfaith Yup. Completly agree. However, having the over the top, clueless character saying it.... sort of highlights it, making a point.

  • That transphobic slur was not cool.

  • @vCollected And... That would be the point.

  • @vCollected Well it's kinda appropriate, since the fag hag is the antagonist, and you're not supposed to like her

  • hahahaha aw. you two are hilarious and cute.

  • i'm so friggin glad you make these videos!! i am a fag hag and all my gay friends are disappointing!! lmaoo

  • @StarFireGianna I'm glad too. I have female friends who act like I'm some sort of plastic faux-female quipping, shopping, fashion-advice trendwhore, rather then a real person with my own personality who just *happens* to like sex with men rather then women.

It's so disappointing that some women treat gay friends like cookie cutter accessories.

  • the "hot tranny mess" thing is offensive and not funny fyi

  • @eepberries Yep, very offensive.

  • @eepberries i believe that's to add to her dislikable and annoying ability

  • Finally, another gay guy I can related to.

  • this might be the best thing ive ever seen.

  • I assume this was before the Netflix price increase. Maybe now he'll go out with her...

  • @zorrgon56 waht is that supposed to mean? Just cuz he doesnt act all girly doesnt mean he isnt gay

  • I love what you guys are doing. In a very funny way, pointing out that gay men aren't always women like. and you're doing it while saying "nothing wrong with girly gay men, but not all of them are like that" keep it up. this makes me happy.

  • Get ya mind right! Don't be such a bitch!! HAHAHAHAHAH I can't stop watching this one!

  • this is a winner, right after the "girl do you....girl do you?" I swear I say that to myself when I am alone sometimes.... LOL

  • I can relate to these videos way too much!!! These are amazing and genius!

  • Love her outfits!

  • I want to do tyler in the butt

  • Ive just watched like 50 of these in a row, classic

  • Honestly they weren't trying to hurt the transgendered community with this video, its showing you how people typically are in real life. Its Addressing the stereotypical "shit talking girl" and their narrow mindedness. I'm sure most of you have heard this language before its nothing new. Don't hate at the people who made this video, hate the real life circumstances. Their just bringing all this to light.

  • OH MY GOD HER FACE AT THE END MADE ME SCREAM LIKE AN UNHOLY DEMON

  • @emmbutt awesome

  • oh my god this is awesome.

  • Mikala has so many outfits! Also, I like your set-up now, but ... can you please from time to time make longer videos? : D

  • @aztroboii I dont agree, the comic timing is perfect as it is:)

  • Would have been better if he'd pointed out that 'tranny' is a slur. Still a great video though.

  • Scratch what I said about it being a good video. It just isn't, not with the transphobia, not even if it's kinda funny. It's all right for gays to combat what discrimination and stereotyping we face, but not while stepping on another minority - one that faces far worse treatment from society - without even noticing. This is what annoys me the most here - no one even noticed. Imagine the all-caps word in the title was FA--OT or NI--ER.

  • @daffy88808 I think part of the point to this video is that saying "tranny" ISN'T cool. I mean, the look on his face... it sort of says it all. That one second where he closes his eyes like "oh god why did you say that" was telling. Yeah, I wish people would point out that "tranny" is a slur and that transphobia is horrible, but the video would have been a lot longer by necessity just to explain to people why it's wrong.

  • @daffy88808 I don't understand how you can say "its alright for gays to combat discrimination and stereotyping" but transgender people is crossing the line? You may have been defending transphobia in your comment, but you are condoning homophobia. I suppose what you are saying is that Gays have been dealing with homophobia for so long now we are just used to it... which BTW is stupid. Thats like saying its okay to make fun of black people because they have been made fun of for so long now.

  • @jeremikay: What. Where am I defending transphobia? Where do I say that it's okay to make fun of gay people? What I said is this: It is good that these videos show how stupid stereotyping gay people is. It is very bad that they use language that hurts trans people to achieve this. Can you please tell where I was being anti-gay or anti-trans?

  • @daffy88808 in reality many if not most trannies have Body Dysmorphic Disorder and surgeons know this and take advantage of this to make money...the surgeries are far from perfected and it is really a form of mutilation at this point...

  • @daffy88808 These videos are all about distancing gay men from gender-atypical men, whether they identify trans or not, who suffer the most discrimination by far. The intention might be pure - pointing out that it's a bad idea to assume that every gay man you meet is gender non-conforming - but the result is that there are many effeminophobic fans of these videos, and their comments usually go unchallenged, so I'm not surprised there is little protest from fans of this video as well.

  • @optifog I think you're overanalysing them a tad.

  • @optifog if you ever use the word 'effeminophobic' in a serious manner you should go home and rethink your life.

being gay doesn't give a man a license to be an effeminate tw£t. why people think it does I don't know. it's getting annoying being associated with chris crocker types purely by sexual orientation

  • @PraecoNoctis There's a blog post of a guy who went to school with actor Jim Parsons (I mentioned him in private message to you). He used to think homosexuality was "disgusting" and although Jim never said he was gay, because he was "very effeminate" the guy suspected he was, and so "took a while to warm up to him". How NICE Jim was "changed my entire outlook on life" and "Jim allowed me to accept people for the person they are, rather than what I thought they should be."

  • @optifog Well, there are some valid objections to the term "effiminophobic" and the concept of femmephobia, but they are obviously not that "there's nothing wrong with hating feminine people". The point is that it introduces a fancy new word for what is basically misogyny, and we don't even have to think about women anymore when we vilify femininity.

  • @daffy88808 I'm female and while I think misogyny and effeminophobia EMERGE from the same thing (belief, often unconscious, that masculinity is superior to femininity), they are two VERY different manifestations of it. The hierarchy goes: masculine males>feminine females>masculine females>feminine males. Females are seen as inferior and patronised whereas feminine males are seen by the very same people as absolutely detestable freaks of nature and/or attention-seeking embarrassments.

  • @optifog I'm not so sure about that hierarchy you drew up here, especially when it comes to feminine women>masculine women. It's more complex than that.

What we have to look into is WHY feminine men get the "freak of nature"-treatment. The most obvious answer is that femininity is gross and degrading, and there is something deeply wrong with a man who would ever stoop so low and "be like a woman". Which is misogyny.

It's nice to see some thinking people in youtube comments btw.

  • @daffy88808 The feminine women>masculine women bit is indeed what I'm least confident about. There are exceptions to the rule but I went with that order because outside of certain spheres, masculine women seem to face more potential issues (teased at school for not conforming, more sexist judgements of their appearance, etc.). Femme males can't convince authorities to class their mistreatment as misogyny, because they're men, so we need a word that refers to it more specifically IMO.

  • Are you a fag hag?

  • my favorite part is when her smile collapses with disappointment. she's such a good actress.

  • his face when she says "so, gurl!" omg

  • ASDJFA;SD;FKLAJSDFLK

  • I love this one. I can't wait for more

  • Tyler looks like Jesse TYLER Ferguson. Is that just me?

  • This is the best new web short series, I swear.

  • I thought she was talking about Christina Aguilera for a second. lol

  • @itone me toooo! How messed up is it that we see "Hot Tranny Mess" and hear "Christina" and automatically think Christina Aguilera. Oops lol.

  • Oh, gay people IRL, always having parents die.

EVERY goddamn time you want them to come in with their sass and cheer you up, I swear.

  • haha, this is awesome. It's cool to see gay being portrayed as just a sexuality. I can't tell you how many of my friends call me girl and I'm like uhhhhhhhhhhhhh

  • OMG THIS IS 2 FUNNY

  • LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

  • I love this so much. I hate when girls try and get me to "be bitchy."

  • these are fucking hilarious! >_< it's funny on two levels: it shows a gay guy friend who isn't all in "stereotype mode" when they interact with people...and it shows how ridiculous girls act when they interact with their gay guy friends...(i hate it when they refer to me as "girl") lol

  • @fratguy76 Yeah, every time I hear a girl call a guy (gay or otherwise) "girl", it makes me cringe.

Then again, I'm one of those people who gets all pissy when people don't understand the difference between sexual orientation and gender identity. Being a gay man means one thing and one thing only - you are sexually attracted to men. It doesn't mean you're girly or eccentric or sassy. If you happen to be any of those things, it's not because you're gay. It's because that's your personality

  • @AllieMcKeen I wish I could thumbsup your comment more than once

  • @AllieMcKeen What if a guy addresses a group of people containing both men and women as "dudes" or "guys"?

  • Sorry to be a downer but "tranny' is a derogatory word towards the T community. It's like calling a black person a nigger. Don't let your lil gay friends get you in trouble with using that word. Peace!

  • @brufanegra I think it's more like the "n" word in that some black people use it amongst themselves, (some transpeople do use the word "tranny" affectionately, just as other LGBT people totally own the word "queer") but it's still not cool for people outside the community to use it because then it's seen as offensive. I actually think it's appropriate here because it shows that Mikala incorrectly thinks she has license to say "tranny" just because she has a gay best friend.

  • "Get'cha mind right. Don't be such a bitch!"

  • Oh my gosh, I'm dying...

  • @VincentJTran Never mind, poor word choice... I'm crying from laughter.

  • love the little song at the end

  • Tyler is overacting!

  • Every time she says Mikala I always think some one is calling me. xD

I'm not uses to this. pffftss.

  • i love the fact that he's reading David Foster Wallace. You get on with yo bad self!

  • good work hahaha keep it up!

  • Okay.. this series is surprisingly refreshing. Well done.

  • more!!!!!!

  • Tyler is soooo cute :3

  • Tyler practically told Mikala to stop "being such a bitch!" lol

  • These are hilarious!

It's funny how he's wearing the same shirt in every video.

  • This is hilarious.

  • LOL LOL LOL LOOOOOL

  • OMG! I love this :) Please make more!

  • Finally something to replace the Chloe YouTube series.

  • love it!!

  • Big agreement with Fae, although I do like the message of this one. Whaaat, you mean gay people don't exist to sort out girls' lives?

  • Ugh, I realize it is humor but please do not use the word tranny. It is transphobic.

  • @Faefighter I honestly didn't know this was, what word would in suggest for substitution?

  • @alostmuffin there is no replacement since the word is used in a derogatory fashion. like a person would use spic, poofter, dyke, nigger, etc to debase another. would you really replace HOT TRANNY MESS with HOT TRANSGENDER MESS? the joke was implying their mutual friend was trashy, just like a trans person.

my view is unpopular and I'll probably cop some abuse for saying this as I always do. but it is the truth. and it is no different from 10 year olds calling others gay, only it's adults.

  • @kittehjam The point being that trans people aren't "trashy".

  • @Faefighter isn't that the point, though? we're not supposed to sympathize with the Mikala character, simply because she is so tactless and fairly ignorant about stereotypes and the like..... hence her use of that word.

  • It's nice seeing the gay character as the normal one for once. Always funny, keep up the great work :)

  • lolZZZ!!
