Trading standards are useless! If they haven't got the power to shut these awful misleading places down then WTF do they even exist?! Trading standards? Trading useless more like. I thought we were in the middle of a credit crunch. I am cannot believe people fell for this pile of Huskie Poo. Don't you guys ever check anything through before parting with your hard earned cash. Even after the story broke we had people dragging their kids for miles and then complaining. The operators knew exactly what they were doing, always somebody willing to hand over hard earned cash
I have to say I agree. Most people don't read the disclaimers (the 'small print') which was on thr website and said the pictures are for show only and don't represent the actual event.
However, this doesn't give anyone the right to scam people, with or without chilren, and falsly advertise, which is a crime.
One good thing might be that people will be more careful on where they spend their money...the bad thing is they loose trust which can be disasterous for honest trades people.
I'm still pissing myself at this story. What do these wankers expect for £30 a head? a christmas buffet with unlimited booze as well? or maybe 3D holographs of Santa and the Narnia snow queen dancing with a virtual Rudolph? I can't wait for the movie release of 'Carry on Crapland', starring the chuckle brothers. Certain members of parliament would pay more then £30 to fight with someone dressed as an elf, believe me. Even Delboy and Rodney Trotter couldn't have done it funnier then this.
