No, she was full term, it was unexpected her heart rate went down too low, my contractions were literally crushing her so they had to get her out. She was ok afterwards and it actually wasn't so bad for me. That sucks what happened to you, I'm glad you and your boy are well! :) He looks strong, healthy and happy!

@Sephiirah He's doing really well. He had a lot of hurdles, but he's doing better than expected. We love him dearly. Can't get enough kisses in during the day. He's laughing and very responsive now. I should make another video with him. He gets more fun every day.

I love his little reactions! 0:42 was so cute! Your laugh is awesome, by the way. I don't have any children yet but I'm hoping to, one day. I've always wondered, is it painful having a baby? Did you have him naturally or c-sectioned? I'm anxious but excited to be a mom one day. :)

@greysquare7 Gryphon was born extremely premature, I had pre-eclampsia. He was taken by C-Section and rushed to the NICU where he stayed for almost 4 months. He was 1lb 5oz when he was born, but he's just fine now as you can see. Yes, it's painful espcecially afterwards when all the numbing wears off and you realize they cut you open took out your insides, ripped the baby our and shoved it all back in and then stapled it back together, Yeah...painful,

I've heard that c-sections are okay, as you're numb, and that vaginal birth isn't the nightmare it appears to be if you have an epidural, but the pain factor is an honest deterrent for me when it comes to bearing children. Gryphon's a beautiful boy! Will he have some brothers or sisters in the future? :)

@greysquare7 The worst part about a Csection is the aftermath. When the numbness wears off, Plus I had an emergency Csection so it was more invasive. Also I didn't get a regular epidural. I got something stronger. We are debating whether to have more or not. If we do, we have names picked out already.

Aww, what a lovely baby BlueFireWitch! I'm so glad he is looking well. He does look like Chris doesn't he? lol! Enjoy him while he's this age. They grow up so quick. I've just become a granddad so feel pretty old! My prayers and best wishes are for you all as always.

@Shazoolo Congrats on being a granddad. I knew you had kids, but I didn't realize they were grown. Gryphon is our little miracle. He was born at 24 weeks at 1lb 5oz. They told us he had a 50% chance of surviving and only a 30% chance of not being mentally impaired. He's been checked out by several doctors and all say he is fine, just a little underweight. We welcome all prayers and good wishes for our son.  Thanks!
