i have watched both concerts here in manila and personally i was amazed by these two beautiful singers, vocally and showmanship wise...though i must say that beyonce's concert was far more spectacular and mesmerizing...but of course, i like them both that the reason why i watched their concerts to begin with...
When you buy a DVD from Christina you get more singing than dancing and using all these props. Beyonce used all these props because after a while her voice gets annoying .
Christinas tone of voice if one of a kinda her timbre is the business . In the other hand beyonce voice is so common you can find someone just as good or better than her in Vegas
Also Christina's voice isnt screaming. If thats what you think it is well damn I wish I could scream like that. Its her way of singing and her style every singer has there own singing style.

And I have to say Christina's is miles better, not only her voice, but the whole set-up of the stage the props everything its much more theatrical as well. For me Christina's has a lot more going on in it than Beyonce's. Thats just my opinion. And Beyonce is one of my favourite singers. But Christina's No.1 for me. The vocal mechanisms involved in screaming & belting are ONE. So if someone says, "Ah, she's just screaming!"--though the tone might sound like he is accusing the singer of doing something wrong--is actually correct. Although,belting is a more appropriate term music-wise. It just all depends on the singer's voice, technique & the music genre on how a belt would sound. So next time, hopefully, the degrading tone when commenting on a belting style would vanish. It just reflects how much you know.
Beyonce's tour was insane!!! Both have good voice. I could care less about dancing in concert. If I want to see great dancing I will watch dancers like Berry Brothers or Eleanor Powell. I find Beyonce to be boring. Christina puts in more emotion and brings me to tears. Her songs are a lot better. She takes more risks with her music. Beyonce does the same thing over and over. She dances and sings. I find in the moment things people do in performances more entertaining.
Beyonce is good but Christina is great . As much as i like beyonce she has never performed to the point of bringing me to tears of joy of excitement . She has never giving me chills like Christina is the 2007 grammys . Beyonce is never going to do something like that because its just not her style to just let go and sing.

Beyonce is good but Christina is great . As much as i like beyonce she has never performed to the point of bringing me to tears of joy of excitement . She has never giving me chills like Christina is the 2007 grammys . Beyonce is never going to do something like that because its just not her style to just let go and sing.

Absolutely no. Pop music is the most popular and influential style. You can hate it but it's true. R'N'B is very forgetable musical genre. Christina's first pop album has sold near 18 million worldwide. Her so-called masterpiece jazz/r'n'b album Back To Basics will never outsold her first album. Anyway I love Christina because she is new with every album - just like Madonna

sorry but beyonce is NOT just a simple RNB singer. she does so much more than just rnb. her music is more pop if anything. also, critics think rnb music is more meaning full than pop music. rnb music is not as shallow as pop music. like look at the content of beyonce music to britney, britney songs are very shallow compared 2 britney. also, when chris did more rnb root, her music was a hell of a lot deeper like that than it was when she 1st came out

Christina's. As far as voice Beyonce has better technicality of her voice, Christina rawness, & bottom power of her voice does it to me. Beyonce is the better dancer, but Christina is also very energetic & can dance too. Creatively Christina shits all over Beyonce. Wrong Beyonce does have a right to be called a legend, she is hailed as the best female performer out there now! Her concert has sold more not to mention her Sasha fierce tour which is only beaten in sales by U2 and Aerosmith. For starters Beyonce was the first woman to win the INT'L ICON AWARD based on live performance record sales and popularity. THE FIRST WOMAN EVER! The only artists that have recieved that award are micheal Jackson just to name one. And if Diana Ross, Patti Labelle and so many other icons say she is an icon you tell me why not. She co-writes & writes well & she has great creative control over her music & takes a big part in her career. & if you want to go on awards Christina has 5 grammy's including a latin one & a list of countless awards other than that. Beautiful is an anthem for every type of person, & has one a GLAAD award from the gay community in which their she is respected immensely. Musically Christina slays Beyonce. What the hell is a "Video Phone", "Diva", "Freakum Dress"? Uhh.. Legendary No... Christina releases an album every few years & she works hard on them, not just rush releases an album to be sloppy & stay relevant. Christina went from Bubble gum pop with her debut, to raunchy, dirty, & bearing of Stripped which is like the Gospel that can get everyone through struggles in life, to "MAture" & "Classly" with Back to Basics.

That's what makes a great cd, for that matter what the hell is "Candyman" "Dirty" fun songs that every artist has to give everyone something to listen to and make them feel good. basically club songs. I've seen Beyonce live, she's a great, sometimes a little over the top but it's entertaining. Christina is on another level, she's exciting and fresh. Her concerts is like going to to a Broadway show. Beyonce is more engertic, that's it. Christina is special, she has that spark especially when she's focused.
