  • Gonna watch "Red Tails" tomorrow.

  • living Black Pilot´s

  • bravos pilotos do 99!!

  • One comment : US airmen fought bravely against Hitler but they were lucky Germans considered them only as enemy not "subhumans" like people from Eastern Europe. Russian POWs had to work in awfull conditions as slaves for Nazis and didnt even think about watching dogfights they were too busy trying to stay alive they could be killed by any german sentry for no reason

  • Tuskegee Airmen", with Lawrence Fishburne. BEST MOVIE THANKS

  • A white bomber navigator, told me with tears in his eyes how much he loved those "Redtails". He owed them his life.

  • @majorCougar109 the P-51D was a considerably better fighter than your beloved me-109. it could more than keep up with the me190 and it was also capable of killing your vaunted me262. these are FACTS recorded in HISTORY. look it up and be afraid you nazi loving scumbag.

  • Ich weiß aber in den meisten Amerikanischen filmen ist es drozdem so

  • Wa ja wieder klar das wieder ein deutscher von einem Amerikaner gejagd wird kann das nicht mal andersrum sein???

  • @jetfighter200 The most important point here it isn't the Axis x Allies. These pilots were black men and they had to fight the world war and an internal racist war with their equals (other pilots).

  • @guimamodeler And why the crashing german plane did not kill any american?!

  • Yes all The Mustangs with the Red tail and red markings on the engine and wingtips were flown by the Black pilots it was their signature. They were the best of the best. They were so good that toward the end of the war White bomber pilots were requesting them to escort their planes into Berlin. Imagine that in a period of Extreme racism. My hats off to these pilots. They never lost a bomber.

  • YESSS!!!

  • Were the P51 with red tale piloted by all black pilots?

  • Yes. If you want to know more about Tuskegee pilots, watch "Tuskegee Airmen", with Lawrence Fishburne.

  • @guimamodeler Now you can add "Red Tails" to that catalogue.

  • @Riyun72 Always bet on black!

  • Harts War.

  • You're quite right in that respect, the Me109 had better armament thatn virtually any allied fighter save the Spitfire Mk.V. However firepower is only decisive if you can get onto your opponent and deliver it and in that respect the chances were far higher that he Mustang would do that than the Me109. The Focke Wulf was a far more formidable opponent.

  • If you other veiwers know the story of that particular tuskegee airman you will know that is a ME109! and that igsact kill is the one that made him the first black ace!Kool!. And by the way what film is this? and are some of the people cheering during the dogfight American POW's because after the german was shot down some of the guys keeped cheering!

  • the movie is called Lt. Harts war. it is a about a prison trial, were a black is accused for murder on another prisoner who was white. the whole trial is a setup so other prisoners can dig a tunnel out from the prison while the german guards focus on the trial.

  • blaha, both A/C was tricked into the film, you can see they are not flying for real. Often the hollywood guys think they can do anything and they believe it so much they actually do ANYTHING,

The only audience that can swallow the bull is average not knowing anything Joe.

The Me109 weights a lot comparing, but it hits a few wooden sticks and disintegrate conveniently into nothing else than burning fuel.

O tell you parts of that fuselage would have continued careening on forward ...

  • Maybe but the P51D Mustanfg was an infinitely superior aircraft in every respect to the Me109. It ended the war having shot down over 4,950 German aircraft more than any other allied aircraft and it only joined the war in early 1943!

  • @floppybollox3 I don't see your logic. However you're defining superior, the facts don't seem to support you because the 109 has more kills credited than any plane in history. More than 100 109 pilots were credited with more than 100 kills! The top mustang pilot had 24. The P51 was an excellent AC but that doesn't really scream infinitely superior to me..

..and the mk5 had half the armament of later spitfires..lulz

  • @phenforreal This is not a fair comparison... the 109 was in combat from 1937 until the end of the war, the P51 only entered the war in 1944. German pilots flew until the end of the war, or they were killed, American pilots rotated back to the States after 50 - 100 missions, so no one had the opportunity to amass 100's of victories. The Mustang was the best offensive fighter of the war, German fighters were mostly interceptors for point defense.

  • its a me-109 the 190 was rounder and had a othe canapee and teh ruder is to high at 0:48 you can see that its a 109 not a 190

  • The two big main stars for the George Lucas Redtails movie, have played Tuskegee Airmen in previous movies

Cuba Gooding Jr was in the original HBO TV film The Tuskegee Airmen Terrence Howard, played a downed Redtails pilot in this Movie, Harts War. Just got back from Prague, I can tell you that this new Tuskegee Airmen movie, REDTAILS is going to be fantastic.

    Tuskegee airman historian

  • @earlgene

Is Samuel Jackson palying in this movie?

  • @mole646 ...i dont think so.....

  • wates the nayme of moviy

  • I love how all crashing planes in those movies make the Stuka sound without having the siren ^^

  • Have you ever seen a P-51D in real life do a fly-by? They make that sound anyway, I can't remember exactly why now (I saw one years ago)

  • The Tuskegee airboys were tough

  • It's a P51 vs a Me109 in my opinion.

  • It's an Me109

  • it cant be a me 109 werent they the german jet planes

  • Jetplanes? Whaaaat? 0:24 , clearly an Me-109, note the wings and the tailplane, can't be anything else. The Me 262 which I think is what you're referring to looks absolutely nothing like that.

  • i know

i wasnt thinking when i put it lol

    the me confused me

  • Looks more like A FW-190 Not a ME-109.

  • 0:24, look at it, and compare the wing shape and tailplane to that of an FW-190. And the aircraft is visibly too "thin" to be a Focke-Wulf.

  • Thing is though from the frontal view I get at around 48 seconds, looking at the sihoulette with the two squared bits coming down, it reminds me of the ME 109.

  • I can't tell, is that an ME 109 or a FW 190 the P-51 shot down? I think it's an ME 109, but I'm not 100% sure. I didn't see a good angle in any of the shots. I'll look again.

  • hell yeah!! those brave blak men were treated like shit by there own country and still they gave it there all!! it makes one ashamed of our past but proud to see how far we came!

  • I never heard of this movie...Going to get it...

  • HART'S WAR is the name of this MOVIE.

  • name of the movie plz!!!!

  • Hart's War

  • I love tuskegee airman they rule the skys of germany.

Though i'm not black i love black ppl.

  • Chalk 1 up for the good guys

  • I'd say Russia Won the war.

  • I'd say all who fought for the allies won the war.

  • incredible

  • HELL YEA!!

  • Bedford got served. Im glad he got killed in this movie personally

  • the POW are in a concentration camps

  • american also got aces

  • GO TUSKEGEE, YOU SHOW WHAT BLACK MAN POWER REALLY IS!!! (im not trying to say back man as in racest.)

  • Don't you mean "Soul Power"? Or was "Soul" not around in the 40's?

  • It was not. and it has nothing to do with "soul" and every thing to do with effort and determination to overcome.

  • But doesn't that come from the soul? Soul Power would be more accurate.

  • Yes, P-51 over

  • the name of the movie is hart war

  • forgot the name of the movie. What's it called?

  • cool!!!!!!!

  • Brilliant movie.

  • Hart's War.

  • what movie is this scene from?

  • Congratulations to our colored pilots of WWII who even though were segretated during the war fought with so much courage as any blue eyes American.

They deserve their spot in WWII history.
