But breeder said he made him that way because he had had already burglars in his estate 2x and so he wanted a guardian, although that animal is a law suit waiting to happen if he ever escapes the premisses. We have an American bulldog and our 3 year old plays with him all of the time. No matter how hard you play with him, he will not bite. I personally don't think its the dog it's fault. I think the father is encouraging his daughter too much to (play) push the dog and stuff like that. She needs to learn how to pet them and not how to push and scream around the dog. It makes them nervous and they might snap. Then the dog gets the blame while they are of a very good race.
Bullies (Amer. bulls, Amstaffs, etc)are the best with kids. Through my own experience with 4 kids and taking my bullies to kindergartens to teach "ABC's of meeting a strange dog classes", they take intentional and unintentional "bumps" and roughness better than other breeds. Well done highlighting that.

This is an american bulldog. Nothing like a terrier as far as their drive. They are generally naturally PROTECTIVE, but not aggressive at all. I'll have some vids up before too long of the dog that my daughter hugged in protection training.

I have an aussie bulldog and my boy is 3, he does what your pup does but i am very consious of what my dog does and does not do with my kids.
i will never fully trust my dog but i think he is good with my kids just very playful.

She needs to learn how to pet them and not how to push and scream around the dog. It makes them nervous and they might snap. Then the dog gets the blame while they are of a very good race.

Bullies (Amer. bulls, Amstaffs, etc)are the best with kids. Through my own experience with 4 kids and taking my bullies to kindergartens to teach "ABC's of meeting a strange dog classes", they take intentional and unintentional "bumps" and roughness better than other breeds. Well done highlighting that.
And for the twit below that cannot type, It sounded to me like dad was right there, watching, as a parent should anytime a large breed is near a child, "just in case", doesn't it?

@amstaff3379 I don´t even have kids and my AmBull just loves them anyway (kids in the family, neighbours, kids we meet everywhere, etc.).

Doing my research now on AB's and I'm definitely getting one. They seem like great dogs and just what I'm looking for in a breed. Ha you're dogs don't compare to what my cat does to my 4 year old daughter (if she deserves it ;-)

This is an american bulldog. Nothing like a terrier as far as their drive. They are generally naturally PROTECTIVE, but not aggressive at all. I'll have some vids up before too long of the dog that my daughter hugged in protection training.

My eyes melted from the cuteness!!! I was doin a report on bulldog behavior. I think I am gonna put this vid in my powerpoint somehow, or at least talk about it to show that if you raise em right, bulldogs are fine.
