Have the RoTF recorded and I keep listening to Bee's little tantrum when he goes back to the garage...I believe Bee calls Sam "Asshole!"....though I just watched the "Bee's Garage scene" from another video where he says "What? You-perfect-Sam" though if that's his main voice, not sure...
In the 3rd movie, when Sam and him get into an arguement he keeps saying "Sam! Sam!" and "Did you eat paint chips when you where young?" when being messed with Sam's previous boss.
He can talk, just it is a problem for him to talk, it hurts ( yes they have pain receptors) and he doesn't choose to talk, but Rachet is still working on him :P
@XXPrincessMidna I'd say the same, but after watching his combat, being young and having his experience don't mix very well. He's a very experience close combat, must have take him years, but loved the idea in the next movies that they keep his vocals damage, haha.

@unicron24 That, I can't answer since I'm wondering the same thing myself. They never came out with a novel prequel for DOTM, unfortunately... My guess: they just gave up on his voice.
@bumblelove if i recall the director kept the whole bumble bee speaking through the radio because they were well connected as friends enough that speaking through the radio was their thing. It's suppose to show their connection as friends.

The DOTM novel explains that Bumblebee can speak but it is very difficult for him so he prefers to use the radio to communicate. He does speak a couple times in the novel.

The Fallen was originally one of them, but was corrupted and turned evil, wanting to use up the sun to make energon, so he was more or less stripped of his title as a Prime, hence the name, "The Fallen". Optimus Prime is just a distant descendant of the Original Seven, as Jetfire had said. And yes, 'Bee is just a friend to Optimus.

I love that scene, it's one of my favorites. But when I first saw it I thought that Bumblebee would have a younger voice. He looks too young to have such an adult-like voice. Oh well I think he still looks cute :)

In the ROTF prequel comic, Bumblebee ran into Starscream's line of fire to save some humans, and the ray/shot/whatever it is hit his voice box. again.
I think Bumblebee's world is more opened when he's mute because he can act like a kid and not let anyone actually hear him speaking to realize how mature he really is.
Yeah, I always imagined him as sounding "younger."

@MetalEagle95 thats cool man if you think michael bay destroyed transformers your entitled to your opinion but i don't agree, i loved tf1, anyways someone will probably do a reboot 10 or 20 years from now anyway and we'll see if someone else can do it better than bay did it

@lovelydiva06 I don't think he destroyed it. I just think Micheal Bay's incarnation doesn't do the franchise justice. But yeah someone probably will do a reboot later on.

I love that scene, it's one of my favorites. But when I first saw it I thought that Bumblebee would have a younger voice. He looks too young to have such an adult-like voice. Oh well I think he still looks cute :)

Interesting how Sam treats him like a brother in the first movie, but in the second movie he treats him like shit lol, he better treat him better in the third movie.

@mckfrr i didn't like the way he treated bee in tf2 either, he calls for his help then he tells him to get in the garage like he's nobody and i hated how he hid him in the garage too, bumblebee's so loyal and sweet, hopefully he'll be treated better in tf3 by sam, you got that sam, lol

omg the animators took alot of time cuz at 0:04 you see the little bar stop the wheel from spinning wow! and bumble bee looks and sounds like a butler with his head held high and what not

@amit790 ikr, how you gonna give him back his voice in tf1 but then take it away again in tf2 cause i was really looking forward to having him speak in tf2 until i heard the actual voice, then i thought maybe its best he keeps speaking through the radio but speaking through the radio worked in tf1 but it just wasn't that great in tf2 and i don't know whats gonna happen for tf3

In the ROTF prequel comic, Bumblebee ran into Starscream's line of fire to save some humans, and the ray/shot/whatever it is hit his voice box. again.

I thought the same. It was incredibly creative how they had him speak via radio snippets, although it IS nice to hear him get his own voice, heh.

I think Bumblebee's world is more opened when he's mute because he can act like a kid and not let anyone actually hear him speaking to realize how mature he really is.

Yeah, I always imagined him as sounding "younger."
I guess it was just the way they presented his character; but he always seemed like "the little n00b that could" in the beginning that proved himself later on xD

you know which part disturbed me? the part wheer that decepticon transformed into the girk and was all freaky with the tail ib the butt thing and the long tongue *is still shivering* lol that part was a little to freaky O.o
demolisher and devastater were my faves, next to wheelie, and then jetfire :P

I think his voice doesnt fit him....his personality is way to young and cute for such a serious tone. I like it when he uses his radio and acts like he's 10 years old...I consider him the baby of the autobots :)
