I have to agree with the comments on this page. This was some of their best days!! And I'm sorry, but what bugs me so much is most of the Skillet fans today don't even know about these days, or choose to ignore them. I was mosh-pitting at Creation for the Skillet concert, and the 19 people I spoke to hadn't even heard of anything past Comaoste!! And then they started to chant that they were panheads. NO! Panheads are those who love John's blond hair!
I am surprised at how closely Ben and Lori play to Kevin and Trey's original guitar and drum parts. It sounds just like the album, or at least with no major changes. I also like how the Invincible songs translate live. They sound more rock and less electronic.
These are awesome videos! I'm a huge fan of the "old Skillet" (basically Invincible / Ardent Worship / Alien Youth for me), so I really appreciate these! Thanks for filming/posting them!
This was as awesome as they are today. But this is not "Powerful" (which if you meant what I think you meant then the song title you meant is "You're Powerful". No, this song is actually "Invincible". But very, very awesome job.
Thanks for the heads up. I originally titled it "Invincible", then found it titled "Powerful" on iTunes (or somewhere, I forget). I'll change it back, as requested from a likely die hard "pan head" fan~
It WAS some of their best days, end of story. This way and during Collide. They were just so awesome during this time, I almost miss them like this. Maybe if they had the Alien Youth look along with the growth and progression of Collide and Comatose.
I love John's crazy blonde hair. :)
