@LoverDino There are two ways. Have a fast thumb, and rush from x to B really fast, or flick the control stick up, and hit B immediately after. The hard part is getting the B button within a few frames of the jump.

@LoverDino fast fingers. some pro players even do the claw technique. basically if you short hop with Y within the first few frame press B then at the top of fox's jump press B again. now if you can short hop proficiently with the control stick then that's better. But its kinda asking to wavedash with the control stick like a boss.

This is why the melee community is so much different than other game's communities. Melee players are playing the game with friends having fun and doing it frequently makes them better. Then they find out that tournaments are awesome because people socialize play and have a good time together. On the other hand you have games like COD where ppl go online and sit in a basement alone desperately trying to become better because they think thats the only way to get accepted in life ever

Other than some random video parts where it seemed too oversaturated or too light so that it hurt my eyes a bit, that speed must've taken a toll on Dark's fingers to keep up. xD But yea, that's some pretty cool shiz and quick finger movements there, keep up the good work. =) But make sure your fingers don't tire on a tournament, if one keeps going that speed for whole duration, no gas left when comes bracket. :27 was a display of tech skill, short hop double-laser into edge cancel, shine jump into reverse laser to recovery

@DennkifromRingstreet yup its a glitch. It happens when you shine right when touching or leaving certain platforms or surfaces. You can try it yourself. Just go to final destination and sprint off the edge, right as you get to it, shine, and you will slide off with no reflector out if you time it just right.

-He starts by moonwalking(smash right stick to the right then almost within the very same milisecond rolls a quarter circle backwards) off the stage

-Once he's no longer on the stage he INSTANTLY does a shine(down-b)

-Drops the shine so he can grab the ledge

-Ledge drops(down while hanging on ledge)

-Shine stall(down-b to stop downward momentum)
