  • Thank you so very much for this quick-tip! I'm making biscuits for the first time, and have never kneaded before! I was warned not to overknead, but I didn't know how much was too much.... Your delicious biscuit videos are a help and a half! Thank you so much; this and the featherlight quick-tip are going to make my biscuits spectacular!!

  • Dear Miss Betty: You said at the start of this video to clean your work surface or board before you started. I had an old aunt who used the dough she was kneading to clean the work surface! We didn't eat at her house very often.

  • @watcherjohnny That's funny...

  • Hey Betty! You were on T.V here in Australia. One of our news shows was counting down famous internet chefs and you were one of them!

  • @EmBryWolf Hi! I would like to see the clip, if anyone has a link to it on the internet!

    --Betty :)

  • @bettyskitchen I cant seem to find it on the website :( maybe someone else in Australia can?

  • @EmBryWolf That's okay; maybe someone will run across it! Thanks for looking (and for telling me it was there!).

  • nice tip. thx for sharing

  • great tip!

  • I love Betty's quick tips!

  • hey betty great tip but i have one question why do we kneed dough i would just like to know why answer will be appreciated :)

  • @lilabarrett Dough of any kind is kneaded to work up gluten, which makes the baked product chewy. Biscuit dough is kneaded very slightly to form a tender biscuit with a crumb that is more flaky than chewy.

  • @bettyskitchen thank you :)

  • Good video Betty and yes the beautiful bracelet did distract a bit. I use to make biscuits at another job and the less you work with the dough the better it comes out. Thanks for the quick tip.

  • Oh dear, when I watched this video, I couldn't help but be distracted by the bracelet on your right hand. I was so worried it would get dirty! Haha, silly me. :)

  • Thanks!

  • first to rate comment and view :) thank you betty for this amazing quick tip! :D
