a kangal is a natural dog breed whereas a pitbull is cross bred with many different dog breeds intentionally to get a desired dog. thats the difference between the kangal and pitbull. the kangal withstood the test of nature for 100s of years until today. whereas the pitbull is made by a man by cross beeding etc. a pitbull can never do what kangals do i.e flock guardian in the rugged landscape of turkey but a kangal can easily do what the pitbulls duty is.
