I think that a remake of Crusader should look like a Third Person Shooter full of badass attitude and dodge moves. The old gameplay won't work very well now, but they can keep the ATTITUDE.
I got this game 14 years ago with my first computer.... and for the first time today after 12 years I got it working again with the same old CD..... I just love it...... I wish they could make more games like that.
they need to bring that out on the xbox360 that make the game of the year i bet and give it the time we are in now we might be haveing the best damn game ever!
@Rpp04 Crusader belongs on the PC first, consoles get it later, and no limits on how many weapons you carry, no regenerating health or shields, etc. Keep it like the first two but updated.
They're supposedly set in the same universe. The crusader games tell the story of how the government in Wing Commander came into being. According to the W.C backstory, the Terran Confederation is a government that replaced WEC in the aftermath of a Terran civil war. Since the Silencer is fighting the WEC it can be presumed he is ultimately victorious. There's also an advertisement for a movie called "No Regret" in a wing commander game "Based on the exciting true story!".

One of the best uses of the Ultima 8 game engine. I was so addicted to this and No Remorse. I even had to upgrade to a 8meg video card to get the fmv to work.
Damn EA killing Origin and swallowing all their properties. They should bring this one out of the dust bin, and NOT make a crappy arcade game like they did with their piss on Wing Commander.
Well, maybe I take that back; this is the kind of game that would actually work on Arcade, really.

Heh, the Di-Core Freighter they used at part of that cut-scene shown in 0:17 is the BWS Intrepid from Wing Commander 4, exact same model!
