I've always wanted to see classic Conan, just to compare. I feel that Conan has been always funny (there are those hit and misses that you can't escape), and I'm more used to the Conan now since I started watching his show about 4 years back. I just love watching Conan, period.

Thanks for all these classic bits chalomirof63. Those skits were the star of the show.

IMO the show really hit its stride in 1995, and was at its best until 2000. When Andy left, it really messed up what Conan did in the sit-down segment, with him playing directly to the audience he got somewhat annoying, even to me. And unfortunately that spread back into the monologue too.

The merciless goofing on Dole and Clinton all summer long in '96 is something I'll always remember.

These skits were one of the main reasons I started watching the Late Show back in the day. I'll always remember Don King advertising random conflicts "For $49.95 only on Pay-Per View!!!"
