Atleast it is a step in the right direction. If blatter/platini pass 6+5 this signing will look cheap. He is a young England international. And that doesn't come cheap. Walcott was 12 million, Cashley cost 5 million plus gallas, wayne bridge cost 12million, SWP cost 21 million, and Rooney was 26 million. 18 doesn't look that ridiculous in comparison to those valuations. Certainly he is a risk, but not as crazy as it seems at first.
